Contributive Learning through Mathematics! This week, Executive Director Rob Proffitt-White, Director Tara Gray, and The Learner First Founder, Joanne McEachen spent time in Washington State (USA), working with educators and students from Grade 1 to Grade 10. They showcased how academic games can build mathematical knowledge, self-understanding, connections, and competency—all while having fun! #contributivelearning
The enthusiasm and engagement were palpable. One student exclaimed, "I’m going to go home and teach this game to my little brother!” Everywhere, students were leaning into their math (literally!), and classrooms were buzzing with excitement for learning.
One teacher reflected, “Assessment of mathematics just becomes part of our regular day,” highlighting how seamlessly integrated assessment enhances daily meaningful learning.
Contributive Learning through Mathematics empowers teachers globally to translate research into practice, enhancing their pedagogical skills to support every student's journey in mathematics.
