Who is this post for? 💫 Women who have been through menopause 💫 Women who are going through menopause 💫 Women who are in perimenopause 💫 Women in are pre-perimenopause That's right - this is for ALL women. Don't be put off - I know it has menopause in the title, but it's so much more than just about that one year when a woman stops menstruating. It is information we should ALL know about our hormones and life changes, and we should know it MUCH earlier than when it happens directly to us. This podcast has so much valuable information, and this is one of 4 episodes in their menopause series, which addresses so many questions we have and questions we didn't even know we should ask! I highly encourage everyone to check it out! #menopauseawareness Kacy Fleming, M.A. https://lnkd.in/eJsBiwyu

Tomorrow is World Menopause Day (WMD) and we have launched our latest episode of the City & Guilds Navigating the UK Skills Challenges podcast. This one is particularly close to my heart because back in 2020, along with 4 amazing colleagues, I started the M-Powered Community Support Group. With the backing and support of our CEO, Kirstie Donnelly, MBE, we established a workplace menopause support group that reflects City & Guilds' commitment to equality, and supporting colleagues experiencing challenges related to perimenopause or post-menopause symptoms in the workplace. In this episode, we dive into why menopause support isn’t just a nice-to-have, it’s essential. From improving wellbeing to helping companies retain valuable talent, we share insights and practical tips for both individuals and employers. Key takeaways: · Menopause affects a significant portion of the workforce. · Supportive policies enhance retention and wellbeing. · There are over 40 potential menopause symptoms to be aware of. · Menopause is not just a women's issue! Tune in, get informed, and help us foster a more inclusive and supportive workplace for all. https://lnkd.in/ePhYzFSX The podcast can also be found on all good podcast platforms. 💬🎧 #WorldMenopauseDay #InclusiveWorkplaces #MenopauseAwareness #podcast

Exciting news! 🎙 I just wrapped up my first-ever podcast appearance on Menopause: The Real Deal with the amazing Michelle Rowlinson! 🎙️ (A scary experience that I actually loved!) We discussed my personal menopause journey, how it impacted my career, and how it inspired me to create the Menopositive Method. One of the key takeaways? Why menopause in the workplace is not just a hot topic, but is both an obligation and an opportunity for businesses. ❓ Did you know? 1 in 10 women leave their jobs due to menopause, yet only 1 in 10 businesses have a formal policy to support them. There’s a huge opportunity here for companies to offer awareness, solutions, and support to retain talent and boost productivity. Let's start reducing the stigma and make our workplaces more inclusive for all. 📅 The full episode will drop in October—stay tuned! #Menopause #EmployeeWellbeing #DiversityAndInclusion

Traci Staffen, CALC ACC, CPQC™, Menopause Advocate is not afraid to have tough and uncomfortable conversations, especially about menopause. This week on Lifting Leaders Podcast Tricia Rhine, MSSL, PCC and I explore with Traci how to bring this topic out of the darkness so that we can help all women (we will all go through it and spend 30% of our lives here) to live their best lives, even as we grow older. Traci says that "Menopause does not diminish a woman’s ability to lead, to be creative, and contribute in her field...but it can be harder. Especially if they don’t know what is happening or how to mitigate the symptoms and if they don’t know where to turn." She also shared that "women entering menopause often feel their gifts and strengths are amplified at this time in their lives, following this transition, and that they have better clarity, greater intuition and sense of purpose so they are more effective, in my opinion. They are better leaders, better employees, and better collaborators than they have been at any time in their lives." Listen to this thought provoking and groundbreaking conversation for yourself and all the important women in your life here https://lnkd.in/gUMvUhCV. #leadership #wellness #hope #sustainability
