Global Rule of Law Index 2024: Uzbekistan Drops to 83rd Position Uzbekistan has slipped five places to 83rd in the 2024 Global Rule of Law Index, marking its first decline since 2016. The index, published by the World Justice Project, ranks 142 countries based on indicators like government powers, corruption, human rights, and justice systems. While Uzbekistan scored well in safety and security, its performance in other areas remained average. Among Central Asian nations, Kazakhstan ranked 65th, Kyrgyzstan 101st, and Russia 113th.
