In a world where screens are ubiquitous, artists and entrepreneurs need to recognize the impact of excessive screen time on our mental health and wellness. While technology can be a valuable tool, it's essential to set boundaries and limit our exposure to screens for our well-being. Excessive screen time has been linked to a variety of mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, and sleep disturbances. It can also lead to feelings of isolation and disconnection, as we spend more time interacting with screens than with real-life experiences. By setting limits on our screen time, we can create space for more meaningful activities that nourish our minds and bodies. Whether it's spending time outdoors, engaging in creative pursuits, or simply connecting with loved ones face-to-face, reducing screen time can lead to a greater sense of balance and well-being. So, let's make a conscious effort to limit our screen time and unplug regularly. By doing so, we can cultivate a healthier relationship with technology and prioritize our mental health and wellness.

MENTAL WELLNESS DAY At Look Beyond Beauty, we’ve always believed in living from the inside out—where true beauty and wellness begin. And today, on Mental Health Day, we want to remind you that your mental well-being is just as important as your physical health. Often, we care for our skin, hair, and bodies, but we forget to nurture our minds and hearts. Comparison can be one of the greatest obstacles to our mental health. It dims the light we have inside and distracts us from our own growth. But remember this: you are not alone. Each of us is on our own unique journey, and it’s okay to be exactly where you are. There’s strength in recognizing that we all rise together when we focus on nurturing our inner world, our mental health, and our overall wellness. Today, let’s take a moment to honor the journey of mental health. Whether you’re at a place of healing or just beginning to ask the hard questions, know that you are worthy of peace, love, and care. Your struggles do not define you, but the resilience you demonstrate in overcoming them does. 🌿💜

"Employers have a unique opportunity—and responsibility—to foster a workplace culture that supports both mental health and sleep health, especially for men who may feel additional barriers to seeking help." The impact of sleep and mental health in the workplace is significant, and it is encouraging to see companies increasingly offer the support that is so necessary. "Traditional Therapy vs Gray Space Experts" We, at Gray Space Experts, recognize the wonderful experiences that many have with traditional therapy services. We also recognize that traditional therapy is NOT a "ONE-SIZE-FITS-ALL" approach as many of us have believed for a long time. We see the harsh realities that traditional therapy services have failed for a lot of us too. The majority of our clients at Gray Space report having worked with a traditional therapist for two to five years prior to finding us. That's a really long time to be working on the same things. Perhaps too long. We know there is a much better and faster way to feel good. At Gray Space Experts.... We are NOT traditional talk therapy; in fact we're quite the opposite. We are action-solution focused. We help individuals understand what's happening in their brain; how it works; why it works the way it does. We then adapt strategies to unlock things from the past that have bothered you and then move forward. It works. It's helpful. All of us can do it! We're here to help YOU! We hope that you'll reach out and allow us to be a part of your journey to better health & wellness. And you will learn how to make small, simple changes today to feel better now & improve your overall mental wellness. We are coaches with a passion and mission to improve mental wellness for anyone, anywhere. Ready? Book a free session: https://lnkd.in/gBcaFPFa

Did you know men are 3.5x more likely to die by suicide? It’s a stark reality and it highlights why emotional health for men needs more attention. On International Men’s Day, let’s take a moment to reflect on this often-overlooked aspect of men’s lives - emotional health. For generations, men have been conditioned to “man up,” suppress their feelings and bear life’s burdens in silence. But this narrative is neither sustainable nor healthy. In 2015, I started Brezie.com - which stands for "Breathe Easy" - with a simple yet powerful vision: to create a safe space for emotional health and wellness. Back then, the app was a platform filled with resources to help individuals, especially men, navigate stress, anxiety and emotional challenges. It was born from the belief that mental health deserves as much attention as physical health. Today, Brezie has grown into a comprehensive electronic health records system, but our core ethos remains unchanged—empowering individuals to take control of their health and wellbeing. To all the men out there: it’s okay to pause. It’s okay to feel. And it’s okay to seek help. Emotional health is not a sign of weakness but a testament to strength. Let’s start normalizing these conversations and supporting initiatives that prioritize mental wellness. If this resonates with you, I’d love to hear your thoughts. Write to me at amish@brezie.in and start your message with “Breaking the Silence”, because it’s time to break barriers and prioritize emotional health. While I am not a qualified practitioner, I’m here to listen and support you as a brother. Together, we can take steps toward a healthier tomorrow.

Today, on World Mental Health Day, we're reminded that mental well-being is just as crucial as physical health. In a society that often demands speed, efficiency, and success, we forget that our mental resilience isn't infinite. As Carl Jung once said, "What you resist, persists." 🧠💡 In the workplace, our environment should foster mental wellness, not undermine it. Creating a supportive space where employees feel safe to speak up about their challenges is the first step toward improving overall productivity and happiness. Sigmund Freud once said, "Love and work are the cornerstones of our humanness" – and we must ensure that balance is not lost. 💼❤️ Let’s reflect today on how we can create more compassionate societies and workspaces where mental health is a priority, not a taboo. 🌱 #WorldMentalHealthDay #MentalWellnessMatters #WorkLifeBalance #SupportEachOther #MentalHealthAwareness #CompassionateWorkplaces #BreakTheStigma
