MENTAL WELLNESS DAY At Look Beyond Beauty, we’ve always believed in living from the inside out—where true beauty and wellness begin. And today, on Mental Health Day, we want to remind you that your mental well-being is just as important as your physical health. Often, we care for our skin, hair, and bodies, but we forget to nurture our minds and hearts. Comparison can be one of the greatest obstacles to our mental health. It dims the light we have inside and distracts us from our own growth. But remember this: you are not alone. Each of us is on our own unique journey, and it’s okay to be exactly where you are. There’s strength in recognizing that we all rise together when we focus on nurturing our inner world, our mental health, and our overall wellness. Today, let’s take a moment to honor the journey of mental health. Whether you’re at a place of healing or just beginning to ask the hard questions, know that you are worthy of peace, love, and care. Your struggles do not define you, but the resilience you demonstrate in overcoming them does. 🌿💜

In a world where screens are ubiquitous, artists and entrepreneurs need to recognize the impact of excessive screen time on our mental health and wellness. While technology can be a valuable tool, it's essential to set boundaries and limit our exposure to screens for our well-being. Excessive screen time has been linked to a variety of mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, and sleep disturbances. It can also lead to feelings of isolation and disconnection, as we spend more time interacting with screens than with real-life experiences. By setting limits on our screen time, we can create space for more meaningful activities that nourish our minds and bodies. Whether it's spending time outdoors, engaging in creative pursuits, or simply connecting with loved ones face-to-face, reducing screen time can lead to a greater sense of balance and well-being. So, let's make a conscious effort to limit our screen time and unplug regularly. By doing so, we can cultivate a healthier relationship with technology and prioritize our mental health and wellness.

Why l’m not a big fan Of tips and tricks when it comes to improving your health and mental wellbeing. It’s simply this - we’re not all the same us human folks. Sure we have basically the same ‘bits’ but they all function slightly differently Allow me to illustrate my point We all have brain 🧠 right? But as we all know everyone’s brain doesn’t work the same way don’t we? We have folks who we ‘label’ as neurotypical and other’s neurodiverse So the same “10 Top Tips” for being organised, and on time are not likely going to work for both! We all have legs and arms that have joints so we can move them, right? But, many people have joints that we call ‘hyper mobile’ So “5 Top Tips to improve posture and flexibility” are not going to be helpful or even beneficial to EVERYONE in fact they could even be harmful! 😳🤪 The other main reason I’M NOT A FAN - is there’s no guide as to how to implement these ‘Top Tips’ into your current daily routine or any specificity as to the order 😮😢 Here’s what I’ve learned in over 30 years of transforming how folks look and feel in their own skin and helping them eliminate habits that harm… 🚀 Implement the wrong stuff at the wrong time OR 🚀Implement the right stuff, but at the wrong time for you in the process of transforming - and it can make things WAY MORE DIFFICULT than they need to be! 😭 Often leading to perpetuating the belief that getting healthy or changing your habits and how you look and feel is HARD I’m here to bust that myth 🥳 🎉Health doesn’t have to be hard - Go Figure )the name of my company for those of you who don’t know) when your work with a coach who works with you to personalise your transformation.🎉 If you want to know more about transforming your own mental, emotional and physical health DM me or comment “Health” below 👇 #healthdoesnthavetobehard #gofigure #humanhealthaccelerator
