The Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality National Advisory Council - which was held in advance of AcademyHealth's Annual Research Meeting - delved into a variety of topics including the future of health services research, strategies to promote age-friendly care, consumer experience measurement modernization, and care for American Indian/Native Alaskan birthing persons. What was clear throughout the entire 1.5 days was 1) a strong focus on ensuring partnerships with diverse research and community groups, 2) the need to strengthen communication/dissemination best-practices, and 3) grant-making must promote implementation of learnings.
