🔧Innovative Sewage Sludge Treatment at One of Germany’s Largest Plant! We're excited to share that our KM 600 DW Ploughshare® Mixers are now playing a crucial role in the efficient treatment of sewage sludge at the Bottrop sewage treatment plant—one of Germany's largest facilities. Together with neighboring plants managed by the Emschergenossenschaft and Lippeverband water boards, the Bottrop plant generates around 220,000 tonnes of sewage sludge every year. Our mixers, designed for continuous operation, use a mechanically generated fluid bed, ensuring high homogeneity and reproducibility—essential for preparing the sludge for optimal thermal utilization. Each mixer drum has a capacity of 600 liters, enabling us to maintain an ideal mix of moist and dried sludge for consistent incineration quality. We are proud to share this critical water treatment infrastructure project FILTEC Ltd completed with Gisborne District Council, restoring water treatment capacity at the Waingake plant after Cyclone Gabrielle in February 2023. 🌪️ The cyclone severely compromised Gisborne’s water supply, with high silt levels affecting the main dams. FILTEC and the council swiftly delivered a solution to restore the Waingake plant to pre-cyclone functionality 🔧 Our team designed, constructed, and retrofitted a 24MLD Parkson lamella pre-treatment system within the existing settling basin. 💧 This advanced technology improves settling of suspended solids, maintaining water quality and boosting capacity. Additionally, a SedVac sludge removal system ensures continuous operation by preventing sludge buildup. 🌟 FILTEC are committed to supporting critical infrastructure and ensuring the Gisborne community has access to safe, reliable drinking water. Our Site Manager Manager Detlef Lemoine shares the key data on the lifting of the sewage sludge dryers in our project #VERA 💙🌊 The dryers are one of the main components of a sludge incineration plant. In the VERA II project they are also the heaviest single lifting units in our plant construction work. With an annual sludge throughput of approximately 76,000 tonnes of dry matter, we are building the largest sewage sludge incineration plant in Germany for our client HAMBURG WASSER. In addition, the expansion has the potential to increase the sludge throughput to 97,000 tonnes per year. Yellowstone Activates MBR #3 Achieving Full Capacity! StreamGo is pleased to announce that the wastewater plant installed within Yellowstone National Park in Mammoth, WY is now operating at full capacity. This 900,000 gpd (peak day flow) plant was initially installed in spring/summer of 2022 with a 4-month delivery timeframe and was operational within 6 months on a supply-only contract. The cutting-edge technology we use has drastically reduced the size of the entire plant compared to other, more traditional plants. Reducing the size of these plants reduces everything, including capital costs, operating costs and environmental footprint. Furthermore, the modular manufacturing approach eliminated potential winter delays we would have otherwise seen at this project site, which was 6,735 feet above sea level. The AQUAPEA has been included in Thames Waters' published Water Resources Management Plan after it received final approval by the UK Government.
