Just finished recording a podcast (as a guest). We were discussing why creativity and play are useful to leaders. The podcast host mentioned that when she worked in corporate, she LIVED for moments when a leader would relax, make a joke and take the edge off. Then they could all relax. They could all collaborate. They could WORK without fear, but instead with confidence. THIS is the reason. When you lead, you don't lead robots. You lead people. People who on some level need resonance, connection and belonging. Especially when times are hard. Leaders don't have to meet all the needs of the folks they lead, but they will either create resonance and inspire productivity, leadership and collaboration - or they won't. This starts on a being level. Creative Leadership coaching is about drawing out the innate authentic creative abilities within a leader - so they can draw them out in their teams. Increase collaboration. Increase fun. Increase productivity. Decrease stress. All boats rise!
Congratulations 🎉 Your work never fails to inspire me
