When you start a sales call, you should be beyond the first step of the sales process. That's because your preparation should begin well before you ever dial a number. Understanding what you expect from the other party and how you plan to close the deal will help you get more out of the conversation, and increase the likelihood it will be productive. #sales #salescall #salestips #salesstrategy https://lnkd.in/gvcCtjMB

The best thing about sales? Even lost deals can come back when the timing is right. Just focus on building a good relationship with your prospects so they think of you when they’re ready. And don't get upset when deals don’t close right away. Trust the timing. Happy selling! #sales

To everyone who is doing sales as a profession: One of the techniques to making sales is to listen to what a prospect is telling you and be able to address their concerns. This also means being flexible in your approach and not just delivering the same pitch to each prospect. To sell, you need the ability to make a product or service relevant and important to that person. #salesrep #salesspecialist #sales

Time. Kills. Deals. The longer a deal takes to close, the more likely it is to fall apart. This is such an important principle in sales. Maintaining momentum in the sales and decision-making process is essential. Top Reasons that Time Kills Deals: - Urgency & Interest Decreases: the prospect gets distracted by other problems - Competition: someone else drives a deal faster with your prospect than you - Changing Circumstances: market conditions shift and the prospect’s priorities change - Maintaining Status Que: prospect decides that changing nothing is a good option for now Keep momentum in your sales process, ask for the sale, and close deals as fast as possible. Because Time Kills Deals! #sales #growyoursales #salesdevelopment

Closing almost every deal in a pipeline requires a prospect to trust you. But deals can progress even when you haven't earned their trust yet. This sales quote is all about making space to create moments of truth with your prospect—pick one part of the deal your potential customer still isn't sure about and turn it into an opportunity to build trust. #pipeline #closingdeals #salesandmarketing Mamatha B Padeppagol

Faking interest is a horrible sales approach. Don’t pretend to care about someone or what they do as a way to start a sales conversation. When they eventually learn you don’t REALLY care, they’ll dislike you — forever. If you’re not interested or don’t genuinely care, skip the lies and pitch your product or service directly. If it helps them solve a problem or capitalize on an opportunity, the (genuine) relationship will come later. #sales #salesconversations #salestraining #customerservice #communicationskillstraining

💡 In sales, the goal isn't to make the sale on the first call, but rather to sell the value of the call itself. Your initial conversation should be focused on providing so much value that the prospect is eager to engage with you again. It’s during these follow-up calls where real trust is built, and only then can you successfully introduce your product or service. By focusing on creating value upfront, you’re not just making a sale—you’re laying the foundation for long-term relationships. 🚀 #Sales #BusinessGrowth #ValueSelling #RelationshipBuilding
