We are delighted to announce Daniel Lambert FTSE from Legacie as a speaker at SIM-PAC Live Melbourne 2024. Daniel is a dynamic engineer with a passion for innovation, technology and developing sustainable water solutions. His previous executive roles include as the Australasia Water Business Leader at Arup and Executive Manager – Sustainable Infrastructure Solutions at Unitywater. Recognised as an industry thought leader, Daniel’s contribution to innovation, sustainability and the water sector has been profound. He has worked in over 25 countries and delivered leading first-of-a-kind solutions for recycled water, water resilience and WASH projects. Some of Daniel’s work is featured in Create Magazine: Daniel Lambert on the power of engineering for good. He was the 2021 Sir John Holland Civil Engineer of the Year and the 2022 Professional Environmental Engineer of the Year. In 2016 Daniel was recognised by Engineers Australia as one of ‘Australia’s Most Innovative Engineers’. Dan has worked extensively in developing communities partnering with organisations including Operation Water, International WaterCentre, WaterAid, Engineers Without Borders, World Toilet Organisation, RedR and World Vision. He provides industry leadership through numerous roles including in innovation (as an Adjunct Professor at UNSW), in humanitarian engineering (as Chair of Australian Water Partnership’s Expert Review Panel) and in sustainability (as Chair of Carbon8 Fund).
