I’m not visiting the RWM this year. I haven’t done for a few years now. I don’t miss it in honesty, although I miss some of the people. I’d be really interested in what the ROI is on the event now - from both exhibitors and visitors…. Honest answers in due course would be intriguing… no bull shit / imaginary pipeline numbers… but actual conversion of leads generated from the event to sales revenue…. I’d also be interested in businesses that decided to send the staff without a stand, and if that central business meeting point pays back more than exhibiting (albeit difficult to quantify relationship management vs sales revenue from an event) #WasteManagement #MarkettingInvestment *this isn’t a dig at the event btw… but a genuine info gathering excercise 🫶

we have exhibited at it the last 2 years. we did get some work off the first one but last year it wasn’t worth it so decided against it this year.

We had a super rwm show post covid ( 2022) really good to be out and about after so long - loads of useful connections, a real energy about the show and has some good business as a result - we returned in ‘23 with a bigger stand, more people, freebies etc and unfortunately it couldnt have been worse, the place was empty of visitors especially on the second day and we wondered why we made any effort at all :-(
I find it very useful for networking as lots of my supply chain in the same place at the same time, but I'm not sure of the benefit of having a stand.
It’s aload of bollocks mate, just people blowing smokes up their own arse and who’s got the biggest in my opinion. Waste of time and money, but you know that already
Not being this year as I was washing my hair don’t mind popping and looking at shiny trucks but it’s not aimed at man and van more the guys the process waste most look at it as a jolly they can right off with a few hotels and meals out being about 5 times and never came away with a genuine useful connection which maybe says more about me than the event 😩

4moDid it for a few years, I think it was a monumental waste of money. Had a very sizeable stand… looking back the monies could have been much better spent, big regret.
