Who Can Be a Life Insurance Beneficiary? You can designate almost anyone as a life insurance beneficiary, from family members and friends to charitable organizations and trusts. 👨👩👧👦🏢 - Family Members or Friends: Spouses, children, or other relatives can be named. - Charities: Make a lasting impact by leaving a portion of your benefit to a charity. 💖 - Trusts: A trust can ensure the benefit is managed according to your wishes. 🏦 However, in some states, community property laws require you to name your spouse as the primary beneficiary for at least 50% of the benefit, unless your spouse provides documented permission to name someone else. 📑 The nine community property states include: - Arizona 🏜️ - California 🌉 - Idaho 🏔️ - Louisiana ⚜️ - Nevada 🎲 - New Mexico 🏜️ - Texas 🤠 - Washington 🌲 - Wisconsin 🧀 #LifeInsuranceBeneficiary 🛡️ #FinancialPlanning 📊 #CommunityProperty 📜 #ProtectYourFamily 💼 #EstatePlanning 📝 #TrustAndWill 🤝 #InsuranceLaw ⚖️ #LegacyPlanning 🌱

It's the final day of The Insurance Charities Awareness week. Not sure how or who they can help? Here are some Mythbusters to clear this up: − Both working and non-working people can apply for support. − They are an independent charity and not linked to any company or professional body/association. − Applicants can have worked in any role in the insurance industry such as IT or marketing, and not just areas such as underwriting or loss adjusting. − Applications can be made at any stage of a person’s career, providing they meet the eligibility criteria. − They also support dependants of eligible insurance people such as children or partners. − Applications will be dealt with in confidence. − Applicants do not need to belong to a professional body or trade association to access support. #ICAW

From administering your organisation, scheduling volunteering activity, and organising fundraising events, to taking care of your people and supporting your communities, when you run a charity, there’s plenty on your plate. Finding the time to review your existing cover arrangements, especially if your renewal date is fast approaching, means it can be tempting to renew insurance automatically or simply go with the first quote, without questioning the level of cover you’ve been offered. We can help you take a more in-depth look at your current protection plan and risk profile of your organisation. Complimentary Annual Review We can undertake a complimentary review of your insurance covers to ensure: • You’re not under or over-insured • Gain access to insurers who only work with certain insurance providers • Obtain more competitive cover via a wider review of the insurance market • Create the opportunity to include risks relating to potential new ventures You can read more about the importance of undertaking an annual review of your current insurance plan here: https://lnkd.in/d2-3nM4D To learn more about how we can support your organisation with a complimentary annual insurance review do get in touch with our team at charitynewbusiness@endsleigh.co.uk or message Cian Campbell Cert CII and Paul Teasdale. To discuss your charity's risk management needs, please contact our senior risk management consultant Scott Crichton at riskmanagement@endsleigh.co.uk. #charityinsurance #riskmanagement #volunteers #endsleigh #howden

Whatever role you’ve had in the UK or Irish insurance industry The Insurance Charities could help you and any dependants. We are hosting a talk with the The Insurance Charities on 25th June at 1pm so please join us to find out more on the different support that is available and who is eligible for help.
