Helping our kids develop resilience is key to their success. Here are some tips to foster a growth mindset and a positive attitude in your child! 👇 1. Encourage Curiosity: Ask open-ended questions like “Why do you think that happens?” or “What if we tried it this way?” to stimulate critical thinking. 🤔🔍 2. Embrace Mistakes: Teach kids that mistakes are learning opportunities. When they fail, help them analyze what went wrong and how to improve. 🌱✨ 3. Celebrate Effort: Praise hard work, dedication, and persistence, not just achievements. This reinforces the value of effort over immediate success. 🎉💪 4. Practice Reflection: At the end of the day, ask your kids to reflect on what they learned and how they solved problems. This builds confidence and reinforces learning. 📝🌟 For more tips and a FREE guide, visit FutureWayMaker.com/guide now! #Parenting #GrowthMindset #Resilience #ChildDevelopment #FutureWayMakers

THE BIGGEST TASK OF PARENTING Teaching Kids to Face and Overcome Risks 💪👶 Parenting is a journey filled with countless responsibilities, but perhaps the most crucial is teaching our children to face, take, handle, and overcome risks. Every person in this world experiences tough days and challenging times. How we navigate these moments, especially in front of our kids, sets a foundation for their future resilience. 🧠✨ From the moment they're born, children are keen observers. They watch and absorb our actions, reactions, and attitudes. By the age of five, their brains are significantly programmed and wired, influenced heavily by what they see and experience at home. This early wiring is pivotal in shaping their approach to life's inevitable challenges. 🚀 Here's how we can guide them: Lead by Example: Our actions speak louder than words. Show them how to handle difficult situations with grace and determination. 💡 Encourage Exploration: Let them explore new things, even if it means facing a few bumps along the way. It's a part of learning. 🌱 Celebrate Efforts, Not Just Success: Praise their efforts and persistence. This builds a growth mindset, teaching them that effort is as valuable as the outcome. 🏅 Provide a Safe Space to Fail: Allow them to make mistakes and learn from them in a supportive environment. This helps them understand that failure is not the end but a step towards growth. 🌟 Discuss Your Own Challenges: Share your own struggles and how you overcame them. This makes them feel understood and shows them that they're not alone. 🤝 By focusing on these principles, we can help our children develop the resilience and courage needed to face the ups and downs of life. Remember, the goal is not to remove risks but to equip them to handle risks effectively. 🌍💪 Let's raise a generation of fearless, resilient, and risk-taking individuals who can turn challenges into opportunities. #ParentingTips #Resilience #RiskTaking #EarlyChildhoodDevelopment #LeadByExample #GrowthMindset #ParentingJourney #FutureLeaders #Motivation #ariseroby #ariserobyspeaks 😊✨

💡 Building grit in your teen isn’t about IQ, talent, or how fast they learn—it’s about passion and perseverance for long-term goals 🎯. Grit is the ability to stick with something even when it gets tough. It’s like running a marathon, not a sprint 🏃♂️🏃♀️. Research shows that students with grit are more likely to succeed in school, careers, and life—even in the most challenging environments. So how do we build grit in our kids? One idea is a growth mindset—the belief that they can improve through effort 💪. However, this is also why we want to avoid permissive parenting. When we rescue 🛟, give in 🤷♀️, or avoid setting boundaries 🚫, we unintentionally hinder our teens from building grit. Permissive parenting can create entitlement 👑 and make it harder for them to face challenges head-on 💥. Instead, by encouraging effort 💼 and allowing them to struggle and problem-solve 🧠, we teach them resilience and perseverance 🏆. Let’s be committed to nurturing grit, because it’s what will help our teens push through challenges and achieve their dreams 🌟. 🤝Be sure to follow along for more parenting advice and support! #buildinggrit #growthmindset #teensuccess #parentingtips #longtermgoals #perseverance #parenting #parentingadvice #avoidpermissiveparenting IB: Angela Duckworth

What expectations do you have for your child? Are they for the child or for you? Part of schooling is about assessments but do these truly reflect your child or are they just to make the school look good. Some parents worry about grades and make their children feel inadequate unless they are achieving good results. I struggled at school and know that the grades I received helped me to become a teacher but it took time. Enjoying tasks allows a child to relax and show their best. If we just see our children as a grade, we are missing out on who they fundamentally are. Children develop at different rates and unrealistic pressure too early can lead to break down. Surely a child's wellbeing, mental resilience and emotional intelligence are far more important than grades? If a child feels seen , heard and loved they develop a sense of inner safety which allows them to face challenges, to be involved in the process and not fixed on the results. People who succeed fail more than a few times; they know that success does not happen overnight and are prepared to put in the work. It is in the resilience of not giving up, and keeping going that builds a person. Be open to talk to your child? How are they feeling inside? Are they comfortable to talk about their feelings? Are you able to provide that calm, safe space where they can open up. Relationships are built through effective communication - be an invitation and not a demand. #moodmunchers #demand #expectation #success #failure #resilience #mentalhealth #mentalresilience #emotions #communication #realtionships #parenting #teaching #schooling #feelings #safety #innerstrength #growth #acceptance #understanding

One of the key ways to foster a growth mindset in children is by praising their efforts rather than focusing solely on outcomes. When children receive praise for their hard work and perseverance, they learn to associate effort with success. This, in turn, motivates them to tackle challenges head-on and persist in the face of adversity. By shifting the focus from innate talent to the process of learning and improvement, parents and educators can empower children to develop resilience and grit. #subliminals #resilience #talent #children #parenting #tolerance #hardwork #focus Read more: https://lnkd.in/dUGwQHkM
