Starting September 2027, all new U.S. passenger vehicles must alert drivers if rear-seat passengers aren't buckled up. The rule, finalized by NHTSA, also strengthens front-seat belt warnings and is expected to save 50 lives and prevent 500 injuries annually. #TrafficSafety
