Ethnic cleansing pronounced to the world! Israel’s policy has always been: 1) dislocate and reduce the Palestinian population, and 2) take and settle their land. Accordingly, the Netanyahu government will bleed and destroy Gaza while it expands West Bank settlement for as long as politically possible. The US and other countries need to take immediate concrete steps to stop the killing. An international military force must be sent to protect Gazan civilians from annihilation and prevent further attacks on Israel. The Israeli military must leave Gaza. Food and medical care must be rushed in. Over time, Gaza should be rebuilt by Gazans, not settled by Israelis, and Gaza should gain independence and self-rule. Israel has the military capacity to protect itself from a free Gaza. The key takeaways from my conversation with Silvia Velikova for the Bulgarian National Radio are the following: ❗️We demand that the current Bulgarian government end economic relations with Israel, as well as the sharing of military and technology-related information. ‼️If not, we may find ourselves in a situation where Bulgaria has supported and sustained a military force committing genocide. Bulgaria is one of the few countries in the world that stands behind Israel in its bloody war against the Palestinian people, and this is evident from the votes at the UN and the dozens of strong reactions following the UN @Internarional Court of Justice advisory opinion. Bulgaria is also one of the few countries in the so-called "democratic" world where what is happening in Gaza is not central to the political discourse - in the US it will prove decisive as to whether the Democrats rule again or not. And our government and politicians pretend that what is happening in Gaza is not important. Dozens of strong and demanding reactions against Israel have come from around the world HOURS after the ICJ opinion saying Israel is an apartheid state, and Bulgaria still has no official position! Shame!
