Welcome to the Index Ventures family, Nourish! Earlier this week, we announced our $35M investment in Nourish’s Series A, led by Damir Becirovic and Paris Heymann. Nourish enables tens of thousands of patients across all 50 states to virtually receive personalized support from hundreds of registered dietitians. There clearly aren’t many bigger problems to solve right now. Healthcare is one of the largest, most complex and most significant verticals, still operating in a largely analogue way. And right now, a whole range of factors are converging to transform this $5 trillion US market. 🛍️ Changing consumer preferences 📱 The rise of telehealth 💊 Game-changing drug discoveries 🤖 AI adoption 👵 An aging population This is the industry’s ecommerce moment. And we’re excited to support some of the world’s most ambitious founders as they take on healthcare’s biggest challenges. For more on our “why now” for healthcare, highly recommend reading Paris’ latest article on the Index blog (I’ll drop the link below). Congratulations and welcome to Stephanie LiuAidan Dewar and Sam Perkins.
