What an incredible and inspiring legacy! The Lily Weinshilboum Travel Award exemplifies the power of quiet generosity and its profound impact on education and scientific advancement. For over 20 years, this anonymous support has allowed Ph.D. students to engage in critical scientific discussions, build networks, and advance their careers. Congratulations to the Mayo Clinic Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences for fostering an environment where generosity and excellence come together to shape tomorrow's science leaders.

the first time i ever met Dick Weinshilboum near his office we talked about how much he liked steak... intimidating stuff from a legend :-) that was only 15+ years ago... a short scale of time on his timeline

Inspiring and not surprising!! Lily and Dr. Weinshilboum have for decades mentored, supported, and have advocated for students at #MayoClinic graduate and medical schools 🙏🏼

So kind of her and her family for helping our PhD students to travel and learn and present at these meetings!
