“Success is a journey, not a destination. It requires constant effort, vigilance, and reevaluation.” ~ Mark Twain 📣 We are thrilled to announce we have developed a leveled certification model that guides people in successfully integrating #mentalhealthliteracy (MHL) into the fabric of their community. MHL is a flexible framework for offering relevant and meaningful mental health education across all communities. The first level, MHL Aware, will be available later this summer. This introductory level focuses on educating individuals about these three concepts: 1️⃣ What MHL is 2️⃣ Why MHL is beneficial 3️⃣ How to bring MHL to their community In addition, the training provides basic, real-world application strategies. ⬇ Download the flyer to share with your networks. 👉 Access the MHL Aware Interest Form here: https://lnkd.in/e_JChUh3

We can’t teach you absolutely everything you’ll need to be a kickass Child & Teen mental health practitioner, BUT we can teach you the basics. At @seedsofsunshine we focus on building clinical skills for therapists who work with young people and their families. Most practitioners are not guided in how to work ethically and effectively with kids in our core training courses. We are generally left to acquire skills on the job, as we go. We believe in a better way. Our ELEMENTALS training program will give you a really solid foundation so you can proceed with confidence, helping to go on to shape the lives of our most important populations. It is fundamental for them that we get it right. Across 2 days, we will cover key theoretical frameworks that are essential to work well with kids and families, and then explore and practice the application of techniques and approaches with common presenting concerns. You will come away with: 🏮Heaps of new KNOWLEDGE 🏮Increased CONFIDENCE 🏮Practical SKILLS 🏮A toolkit of clinical RESOURCES So that you too can know that you’re working from a solid foundation and can go on to do your very best work. 🌟 We are starting the European Mental Health Week! 🌍 This initiative, co-funded by the European Commission, aims to co-create the future of mental health by calling for action to develop and implement policies, services, programmes, and communications that promote positive mental health using a psychosocial model and a human rights-based approach. At NESET we encourage researchers, practitioners, policymakers and everyone to engage in this exchange on all aspects of mental health. We also invite experts to share knowledge that can bridge the gap between policy and academia on relevant issues such as mental health in education. 📘 The latest NESET report on Student and Staff Mental Wellbeing in European Higher Education Institutions, authored by experts Elena Riva, Kate Lister, and Wiki Jeglinska, serves as a valuable resource to advance these goals. This report provides an overview of the main barriers that affect the declining mental health and well-being of students and staff in Higher Education across the European Union. It also offers key policy recommendations for the successful implementation of ‘whole institution’ approaches in these institutions. We invite you to: 🔍 Explore the full report via this link: https://shorturl.at/txzX2 🔗 Dive into the report one-pager here: https://shorturl.at/dkTV9 🗣️ Explore the event on Mental Health Europe and contribute to the debate during this awareness week! #EuropeanMentalHealthWeek #BetterTogether #NESET #mentalhealth #wellbeing #HigherEducation #StudentAndStaffWellbeing #Europe
