💼 Yesterday, I had the privilege of conducting a transformative training session for the HR team of Aluminium Company of Malaysia (ALCOM) and Alcom Group Berhad at Wyndham Acmar Klang. The session, titled “Sustainability Leadership Program for HR Department: Calibrate People, Policies, and Purpose for Sustainable Impact”, was a key step in aligning HR practices with sustainability objectives. We were honored to have an inspiring opening speech by the Group CEO and President, Mr. Heon Chee Shyong, which set the tone for an engaging and impactful day. The session was highly interactive, culminating in the development of a 2025 roadmap for strategies and implementation that aims to drive real, sustainable change. 🌟 A big thank you to the HR team for their enthusiasm, insightful contributions, and commitment to making sustainability a core focus within the organization. I had lots of fun and insightful discussion and sharing What truly motivate us come to work everyday and how to make ourself motivated! Proud of being a part of HR team with lots of great opportunities to learn and share! Tips for motivation i learnt: ☘️Tell yourself you want to do it: Focus on the feeling you are going to have after the work is done and look at it as an easy challenge that can be accomplished. ☘️ Manage yourself: You are the only person who can control what happens in your life, so be grateful for that and enjoy that power. ☘️ Talk with other people who are working hard: who inspire you and push you to succeed. ☘️ Make smaller tasks: Divide the large task into smaller, more achievable goals that can be completed easily. ☘️ Be positive: Focus on developing and building your strengths. Understanding our own personality traits is important. Understanding the personality traits of our team members is even more valuable because it's integral to building solid teamwork. On April 26, 2024, I had the honor of sharing my insights on understanding personality within teams at the annual P&G Jakarta Plant Titan Academy event. The seminar "Learning Agility: Drive Team Effectiveness through Big 5 Personality Theory," was a resounding success. The event was smooth, enthusiastic, and inspiring. Many participants engaged in discussions about personality traits, leading to a deeper understanding of themselves and their colleagues.
