Agreed! And customers don't have to go "all in". We can/should help define their use case to start their AI journey. It could be as simple as solving 1 task then the technology can be applied to additional use cases.

AI seems to be everywhere these days, even if nobody quite knows how much this will change the world that we live and work in. It has made me reflect about my 3 kids - when they grow up, will ‘normal’ jobs still exists? I shared a story when I was presenting at our recent KPMG M&A Future Leadership Programme with Professor Scott Moeller on AI, at an event sponsored by global Deal Advisory leader Liz Claydon for some of our largest global clients; and the story is about a cousin who works in Silicon Valley – a global nomad, living in Airbnbs all year round, being in Tokyo on week, Barcelona the next and he works ca. 1 hr a day with help of AI – this is the utopia (for some?) scenario that sparked a lot laughter and debate amongst the deal leaders re how AI could change the way we live and work.
Recently, I have collaborated with my global colleagues and Financier Worldwide Magazine exploring the topic of how AI is changing the way we look at employee integration in deals. Javier Rodriguez mentions that around a quarter of all deals being made today have been influenced in some way by employee integration insights generated by AI. Anthony Conforti shares insights re watch outs for biases in the data that can be perpetuated when using AI, and I reflected on how we use AI to help clients better understand cultural differences pre-deal outside in, and how this helped a major client re-shape their integration strategy fast, to protect deal value.
Do you believe that AI will re-shape how we live and work? Will this change the way we do M&A? How will this change the way we prepare our children / youngsters for the brave new world of work?

AI is rapidly transforming the deal-making landscape. Our experts recently discussed how AI can improve the overall employee integration experience and reveals insights from areas that were previously off-limits, in collaboration with Financier Worldwide Magazine.
By integrating AI into our decision-making processes, we can adopt a more data-driven approach, using machine learning to predict outcomes and inform strategies. Embracing these innovations allows us to reshape our deal-making practices and unlock new avenues for success in an evolving market.

I had the incredible opportunity to speak at the #FutureSpace2024 conference yesterday, where I shared insights on a people's centric approach to #AI adoption.
Key takeaways from my talk:
🚀 Generative AI can double productivity in New Zealand by freeing up time and reinvesting it into higher-value tasks.
🌏 New Zealanders are ahead of the global average in using AI at work.
📈 Most organizations lack a clear plan for AI adoption to transition from individual productivity to enterprise-wide adoption.
🛠️ A clear plan is essential to realize the promised productivity gains, as freed-up time needs to be reinvested into higher-value tasks.
If this resonates with you, join the AEC Working Group, part of the AI Forum NZ here: https://lnkd.in/gYAC5Dfa
A big thank you to ACE New Zealand for hosting such an inspiring event and to all the amazing attendees who made it a memorable experience!
I'd love to hear about your journey with AI so far and learn from it too. Let's continue the conversation today!
