Unpacking the Beverage Industry: What are pouring rights agreements? These contracts, pivotal in the beverage industry, entail exclusive arrangements between a property and one of the major beverage companies. For airports, this means that a terminal's restaurants, news and gifts, vending machines and other retail environments would stock the products produced by the partner beverage company. In exchange, the property can be afforded consideration such as sponsorship funds, strategic investments, guaranteed service levels and tenant protections.
