Happy Halloween from WRFN! 🎃 As you prepare for a night of trick or treating, we wish everyone a fun and safe experience. If you’re staying home to distribute treats, here are some ways to make your home more welcoming: -Offer nut-free and non-candy alternatives, such as crayons or stickers. -Try to eliminate any obstacles leading to your front porch, or consider sitting in front of steps or barriers. -Avoid using flashing lights and loud sound effects that might be overwhelming. -Keep in mind that some children may communicate in different ways. -Don’t be surprised if older kids come by; it’s all part of the fun! -Also, remember that some children may not be in costumes for their own reasons, including sensory sensitivities.
