Shoutout to Lawrence Taylor and Kadidiatou Keita, two of our fantastic MPower ambassadors, for their incredible work at today's Ivy Tech Community College mock interview event with Eric Stanley! These Ivy Tech students aren't just sharing information – they're connecting with peers on a real level, gathering authentic feedback about the challenges students face in finding sustainable employment. Their perspective is invaluable as we work to bridge the gap between education and career success. Thank you both for bringing your energy and insights to today's event!

Delighted to have joined yesterday's panel discussion for the Young Alumni Programme at Sidney Sussex College, Cambridge, to talk about "Squiggly Careers." Overall conclusions: - A few "squiggles" (aka job/role/life changes) are increasingly the norm. - Even (especially?) the unexpected ones can lead to exciting, fulfilling careers in the long run! - Understanding your personal values, building transferable skills and asking your network for help are key to making a squiggle into a success.

Very important message and perspective:
"We must understand that reentry isn't a black-or-white path; it's a uniquely human journey. Reentry isn't just about finding a way back; it's about forging a new path forward," Dr. Millicent Lewis-McCoy, Assistant Deputy Director, ICJIA. Today kicks off National Reentry Week 2024! Throughout the week, ICJIA will share powerful messages, showcase our reentry work, and host an insightful webinar. #secondchance #reentry
