A lot of the shine has worn off of the 3D printing space in the past few years but I still believe it has not taken off like it will someday as it becomes more readily available, we all need to revisit where it fits in to our work. 3D printing and additive manufacturing can serve as powerful force multipliers in traditional manufacturing by enabling rapid prototyping, reducing lead times, and minimizing waste.
