Practical advice for Taiwanese cable stations All the cable stations in Taiwan rely on secondhand news to fill airtime, scavenging all kinds of content online to re-air as so-called news. The attached screenshot is one of countless trivial content one sees on cable stations. This one about an idiot who holds a rose in his mouth while on a hood to express love for a drive-through restaurant waitress. Who cares!? Taiwanese cable stations should simply set aside a channel that airs exclusively trivial content for those bored out of their minds. It would be exactly like scrolling on one's phone to be amused except watching on TV. #PracticalAdviceForTaiwaneseCableStations

The #BBC has started to air the #Nightsleeper TV mini-series last week. It is about a train traveling from #Glasgow in #Scotland to #London in #England; and its passengers realize that it was #hacked and controlled by an unknown entity. Although this is a work of drama, I believe it is still realistic (I only watched the trailer, not the full show yet. I wish I could do that soon!). #Technology has dominated a lot of things including the #transportation vehicles. The more we rely on it, the more we will be the targets of #cyberattacks. Great seeing how much work has gone into Greek public broadcaster ERT S.A. HELLENIC BROADCASTING CORPORATION to upgrading its premises and studios, and is clearly reaping the rewards by gaining more younger audiences, the target of all operators in the media space, but also for older generations. As Noel the DG from the European Broadcasting Union (EBU) said, it's an incredible achievement to consider that ERTflix is in the top 10 VOD platforms in Europe, considering the size of the Greek market vis a vie other European markets. It's really interesting to see how #psbs are taking steps to implement #ai in their platforms, and develop it in the #mediaindustry. It's something we need to see more of going forward.
