Senegal and AUDA-NEPAD Partner to Advance Health and Skills Development Dakar, Senegal 17 December 2024 – The African Union Development Agency - NEPAD (AUDA-NEPAD) has announced a landmark collaboration with the Government of Senegal aimed at bolstering the country’s health and skills development sectors through a tailored programme of health initiatives. His Excellency. Dr. Ibrahima Sy, the Minister of Health and Social Action in Senegal says, “Senegal is proud to deepen its collaboration with AUDA-NEPAD to strengthen our healthcare systems and ensure better health outcomes for all Senegalese. This partnership aligns perfectly with our vision for sustainable development and regional leadership in health.” This partnership underscores our unwavering commitment to addressing Africa’s systemic health challenges and fostering socio-economic transformation across the continent. In tailoring a package of healthcare system support for Senegal, we engaged extensively with officials from the Government of to thoroughly understand the country’s health ecosystem priorities and identify innovative solutions through its comprehensive health programmes.
