1.Daisy-Chain Technique: This method involves connecting solar panels in a continuous line, with a return wire at each end. It's straightforward, especially for panels arranged in a string and with shorter connecting cables. However, excess wiring may be visible, especially in systems with a portrait orientation. 2.Leapfrog Technique (Skip-Wiring): In this approach, panels are connected by skipping every other one, then circling back to connect the skipped panels. There's no need for a return wire because the cabling ends up back at the starting point. Some find this method more efficient due to reduced voltage drop and wiring needs, and it allows for better cable management. In essence, while the Daisy-Chain method is simpler, the Leapfrog technique offers efficiency benefits and improved cable organization.
