Since 2016, I've been speaking to students about preparing for exams through nutrition, but the benefits of good nutrition extend far beyond just physical health. When I speak to schools, the army, or gyms, it’s often about how certain foods can support us in managing the situations we face—whether it’s mental clarity for exams, resilience in tough environments, or improving physical performance. My talks at schools are for the students however I often am told by the teachers, they found it useful. My first ever talk 8 years ago, the teacher who organised the talk said she transformed her breakfasts after listening to me and every year after she is keen to tell the students about it and how much better she has felt as a result. I am known as a breakfast transformer! At the schools I speak to, exam results have improved since 2016 and though I know other factors are at play I like to think my information has played a part. However, for me it is not about results it is about how they come out at the other end, good food and nutrition can help you cope better towards challenge. Whether it’s helping students stay sharp during exams and happy after them, or guiding athletes and exercisers toward better performance, I'm passionate about sharing the power of nutrition. I’m always excited to connect with more organisations who want to prioritise health and performance through nutrition. #NutritionforPerformance #talks #healthandwellness

It was an exciting moment talking with my secondary school mates 🧡 on their health. The topic of discussion was: Healthy Living: Thriving in your 40s and beyond. Health is a multifaceted and an all-encompassing aspect of life. In order to fulfil your dreams, vision, purpose, and prosper. There are responsibilities we have to be intentional about: 1. Eating healthy 2. Exercising regularly 3. Building and maintaining meaningful social connections 4. Investing in personal growth 5. Personal hygiene is vital 6. Medical check-ups 7. Strict adherence to prescription, treatment, and management in case of any ailment or disease. All these will contribute positively to our physical, mental, social, environmental, and other aspects of our health.
