Diverse Perspectives And Insights from France and Poland Service Markets 🇫🇷🇵🇱 Working across different countries provides an INVALUABLE EXPERIENCE that enriches one’s professional approach, especially in service-based industries. France and Poland, thanks to their UNIQUE cultural, economic, and business environments, offer distinct perspectives that can profoundly shape service delivery and strategic thinking. Today I will share the KEY INSIGHTS that I have gained from my experiences of working in these two countries and how they can inform a more holistic and adaptable approach to service delivery. 🇫🇷 France is known for: 💡 Emphasis on formal business etiquette 💡 A strong preference for structure and hierarchy 💡 A deep appreciation for quality and tradition 🇵🇱 In contrast, Poland: 💡 Also values PROFESSIONALISM 💡 Tends to have a more direct and pragmatic approach 💡 Growing focus on innovation and flexibility. In France, building long-term relationships often hinges on respecting established protocols and demonstrating a commitment to only the highest standards. French clients typically appreciate thoroughness and attention to detail, making it essential to provide well-considered and polished service offerings. On the other hand, Polish clients value efficiency and practicality, looking for solutions that are not only effective but also adaptable to changing circumstances. 💡 Adopting traits blending French attention to quality and tradition with Polish pragmatism and innovation can help leaders and companies create a unique business perspective. Embracing these diverse perspectives can allow for a more holistic approach to business, fostering growth and success. But our journey doesn't end there - we're actively pursuing ways to implement them. 📅 Mark your calendars for April 10 in Košice, when we will explore one of these recommendations in detail - a soft landing institution as a game-changer in attracting, integrating and employing foreign talent and the diaspora. Come and listen to the perspectives of policymakers from the Office of Labour, Social Affairs and Family, Mesto Košice, ManpowerGroup, IOM - UN Migration, and the Integration Centre. Find motivation in the stories of successful foreign talent thriving in Košice. Mastering the Italian Language: A Key to Thriving in Milan's Corporate Scene I changed my corporate life last year, leaving the hustle and bustle of London for the equally hustly and bustly life in Milan! Cultural sensitivity is something to keep in mind if you want to work in a corporate environment in Italy. The two key factors include: —> Cultural Awareness: Being aware of and sensitive to Italian customs and traditions is important, especially for expatriates and international business partners. —> Language: While English is commonly used in multinational companies, proficiency in Italian is highly valued and can facilitate better communication and integration. By understanding and respecting local customs and traditions, while also honing your Italian language skills, you can significantly enhance your professional interactions and overall experience. #Milan #GlobalMobility #Careers #SocialNetworking

Just back from a visit to Riga with Tessa Cox to see our Clear Channel Europe colleagues from Latvia, Lithuania and Estonia to talk #compliance and #sustainability. My thoughts? 🤝 We have great tech to connect us. But as brilliant as Teams and Zoom are, they can't do it all. Meeting in person really does help build trust and strengthen bonds, so people will come to you for advice and guidance early on when facing something novel or tricky. 📌 Local Insights are key, and understanding that context gives invaluable perspectives on compliance challenges. It also helps you develop solutions that can actually work in each country. Don't be arrogant, and accept that what might work in the UK or Sweden might not play out the same way in Spain or Poland. Your colleagues on the ground know their business - leverage that. I've come away with a much more sophisticated knowledge of the competitive landscape in which Clear Channel operates in these countries. 🌍 Do cultural stuff! You've gone all that way, so get out there and see the city, taste local specialties, and speak with the locals. I chatted with a Latvian lady who filled me in on the history of Christmas decorations. The more you engage, the more rewarding your time will be. Riga is a beautiful city with a fascinating history. Also great to catch up with Elina Girne who shared lots of tips to help make the most of our time there. Artūras Štaudė, Erki Roosimägi, Janis Puravs, Ieva Endriksone, Toomas Kask
