As an ex-soldier I know what every Israeli knows - the IDF is the army with the highest moral standards in the world. No other army is providing food, water and medicine to its enemy. No other army informs its enemy where and when it'll strike, so they can evacuate citizens, even when it means losing a possibility to kill terrorists. No other army is using small and precise missiles to kill only terorists without collateral damage, even when they cost 10x and hard to get. No other army cancels operations and misses opportunities, to save enemy life. This is not theory, I was part of it, and saw first hand how decisions take into account international law (to the point lawyers are an active part of the task force) and human lives (enemy lives, make no mistake). So how is it women and children still get killed, you ask? The answer is simple: Hamas is using them as human shields, so it can blame the IDF for it. Every school, every hospital, every mosque and many homes, with children, are military bases, containing bombs, missiles and other weapons. That is why Israel insists on evacuating population from combat zones, and that is why Hamas is shooting Palestinian citizens which try to leave active battle zones. In spite of that the stats are clear: civilian to military death toll ratio is the lowest the world has seen! Don't fall for Hamas propaganda.

Our military is particularly vulnerable to these sentiments and attracts many more as an employer vs Draftee. please note a concomminant rise in the number of Commanders in all Service Branches who are #REMOVEDFORLACKOFCONFIDENCE many because they create a command enviornment reflecting MAGA Like persuasion. For example the Navy Boat chief who was court martial for secretly overriding his Commander a Female to order install and operate a boat wide Starlink account. This tendency and emergent pattern is the most pernicious threat to democracy our Chain of Command Good ordervand dicipline.
