Thrilled to have hosted a strategic meeting with Cambridge International Education to strengthen our partnership and tackle critical challenges like the global teacher shortage. With over 100,000 qualified teachers projected to be needed in international schools in 2025 alone(based on ISC Research), we’re proud to work together to support schools with high-quality online courses by Wolsey Hall for Schools, bridging gaps in teaching and subject coverage and delivering exceptional experiences for schools and students worldwide.

✨Step Into Teaching Attended the Pearson National Teaching Awards✨ ❗ Now it's time for your school or college to enter the 2025 awards! ❗ We had the privilege of attending the 2024 Pearson National Teaching Awards on November 30th. Known as the "Oscars of the teaching profession," this event celebrates the passion and dedication of educators across the UK. This year, 16 incredible individuals and institutions were honoured for their remarkable contributions. Nine prestigious 'gold awards' were revealed at the glittering London ceremony, with the rest shared on the BBC's The One Show and in The Sunday Times. Notably, we were proud to sponsor the Making A Difference - Secondary School of the Year category. A huge congratulations to All Saints Catholic School and Technology College in Dagenham! This outstanding school embodies resilience and inclusivity, a true beacon in its community. The awards reminded us of the critical role educators play in shaping young lives, as mentors, role models, and champions. We're inspired to continue supporting schools and graduates through our Step Into Teaching programme, helping build a brighter future for education. If you're inspired by the stories of this year's winners, explore how we support schools and graduates. Visit www.stepintoteaching.co.uk or get in touch. As we continue the conversation about the global challenges in higher education, we must confront two fundamental issues. The first has to deal with how we will measure higher education given the development of new learning styles and the immersion of augmented reality into the learning spaces. The second issue is the challenge of global enrollment in higher learning institutions. Dr. Zameer Mohammed makes the point on these two issues in a recent TV interview on the changing landscape of higher education.

This is great news for Australia Jason Clare MP. However, much of the systemic institutional change for regional and rural institutions is currently not clearly articulated. Discussion/ consultation currently seems to position the elite giant metropolitan universities - again. They are mobilising rapidly because they have the financial capability to do that (despite claims of financial distress). Evidence behaviour not words in that regard. Our fear is that a primary driver is access to revenue and a pipeline of selected best quality students from the bush. There is urgency to start a deep conversation with those delivering and headquartered in regions now. We are the universities you seek. Our long run historical statistics of access and inclusion make this abundantly clear. It is why my university, the University of New England (AU), was started by the rural and distant communities for those very communities. But, we are struggling now and cannot see the current discussion as focussed on understanding what we are struggling with and what to do about that - now. Thank you again for your passion and vision for our sector.

Great share by Patricia Davidson 👌🔝⭐️ When we #value #students, ease their burdens, and #support them today, they’ll add value and make a real difference tomorrow as experts in their fields. It’s a bit late, but still a great and promising move by the government. Hopefully, this will soon extend to students in other disciplines as well. The #Australian Universities Accord Final Report has started bearing fruit. 🪴🍀🇦🇺 #SupportFutureExperts #InvestInStudents
