DHL AND ENVISION TEAM UP FOR SUSTAINABLE INNOVATIONS IN LOGISTICS AND ENERGY Envision Group, a leading global green technology company, and DHL Group signed a Strategic Partnership Agreement to foster a comprehensive cooperation in logistics solutions and mutually accelerate the progress of sustainability targets. The partnership covers four main areas: logistics solutions, Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF), green energy, and the joint development of a “Net Zero Industrial & Logistic Park”. 🇳🇴 Norway leads the #green transition    In 2023, 16 investment projects came from Norway (16% of Nordic investment projects in France) which will lead to the creation or maintenance of 231 jobs in the next 3 years in France.      On the occasion of the signing of the Franco-Norwegian strategic #partnership in January 2024, the Norwegian Minister of Trade and Industry detailed a roadmap on the 3 following topics:  🌫️ CO2 capture and storage to reduce #GES emissions   🏭 #renewable energy industries to enable the energy #transition  🪨 raw materials as cornerstones for the development of #sustainable projects       🌿 Norwegian companies are helping to make these ambitions a reality through their investments. For example, HYKE - Hydrolift Smart City Ferries, a startup specialised in zero-emission waterborne mobility, invested in France to develop a network of autonomous electric ferries. Bord na Móna has unveiled it’s latest cohort for its Accelerate Green programme and again it's an exciting line-up of eight innovative companies dedicated to green solutions. As you may remember, we talked about this programme a year ago. Well, it's back with a fresh energy and new ideas. Why does this matter for scalability in Ireland? The companies selected are at the forefront of green innovation, with a focus on renewable energy, sustainable agriculture, EV charging etc. With Ireland’s ambitious climate goals and a net-zero emissions target by 2050, initiatives like Accelerate Green play a crucial role.
