The 2024 Asia Pacific #Hydrogen Summit wrapped up last Friday. It was an amazing two days. I represented GE Vernova on two panels; one on #H2 mega projects, and one on the production of H2 from #renewables. The video below includes my reflections after the first day of the event. Overall, my reflections from my trip to Australia and this event are: 1) Australia and its international partners are committed to supporting the growth of renewable-based H2 globally. 2) There is a clear understanding that (developing a new industry) is hard and that it will take time. These are key ... no one is expecting that the development of a low-carbon H2 supply chain will happen overnight or that it will be easy. But it is clear that both public and private institutions are focusing on H2 as one of the paths needed for the future of energy. #APACHydrogen2024 #FutureofEnergy #decarbonization #renewables #gasturbines #windpower #Australia
