🌍 #30DaysAWSCloudChallenge Day 16 🌍 Today, I dove into AWS Global Accelerator! This service is an amazing tool that routes user traffic through the AWS global network, cutting down latency and boosting reliability for apps used worldwide. It’s been one of the most exciting challenges so far! 🌐 🔍 What is Global Accelerator? Think of AWS Global Accelerator as a shortcut for your app’s traffic—it uses AWS’s private network instead of the public internet. This speeds things up, keeps users connected, and makes sure the app is resilient. It’s a game-changer for applications that need fast, reliable access anywhere in the world. 💡 Where is it used? Applications with global audiences—think gaming platforms, real-time financial apps, or large-scale web applications—benefit big-time from Global Accelerator. This service makes it easier to keep experiences fast and seamless for users, no matter where they are. 🚀 Steps I Followed to Set It Up: Here’s a quick summary of how I set up my first Global Accelerator: 1. Created the Accelerator: Gave it a name and chose IPv4 for my IP type. 2. Set Up a Listener: Configured the listener to use TCP and specified my application’s port. 3. Configured Endpoint Groups: Selected the AWS regions I wanted to cover and set up health checks to make sure traffic always goes to a working endpoint. 4. Added Endpoints: Linked my Application Load Balancer (ALB) to direct user traffic. 5. Testing: With the static IPs provided by AWS, I tested that everything was working, and it felt great to see it all come together! It’s a journey, but each day I’m growing and learning something new. Huge thanks to my mentors SHYAM GANESH Tand Dharsha Manimaran and everyone in the AWS community PEP Cloud Computing (AWS/ Azure/ GCP) and DevOps Centre,AWS Cloud Club St.Joseph's Group of Institutions for all the support and guidance. I’m excited to keep pushing forward! #AWS #CloudComputing #GlobalAccelerator #Networking #Day16 #Grateful #AWSCommunity
