New paper! Delighted to see "A developmental Trajectory of Latent Inhibition" by Sue Lynn Mah and me published in JEP. https://lnkd.in/e74WRhcP Latent inhibition is where learning progresses more slowly to familiar cues than to novel cues, and is thought to reflect either interference or attentional processes. Here we explored its development in 4 to 14 year old children. In our hands, it emerges around the age of 6 to 7 years, and then linearly increases in magnitude.

The Biology of Secure Attachment and Its Intergenerational Impact - why is this important? Here's why. Attachment, a crucial survival aspect of early childhood development, has far-reaching effects on our lives. When we experience insufficient connection, such as not being held, heard, seen, or understood enough, we adapt to cope. These adaptations lead to a "not enough" programming that becomes deeply ingrained in our minds and bodies. It becomes our psychology and biology. Yet, the impact of attachment wounds and programming extends beyond each individual. They get passed down through generations. All this and more today -Day 3- on Unlocking The Attachment-Health Connection Summit! This talk is only available today, so register now to watch and learn! Register here: https://lnkd.in/gMZdmB7T

Consume knowledge to devour darkness. Love that Christian Nanry, Ph.D., as knowledge and awareness are our best tools to fight the darkness which is Transnational Organized Crime. We hope for laws to change adding more protection, we hope for organizations whose platforms are used to carry out these crimes to step up and add protections by choice or due to legislation. But for now Education, awareness and preparation is what we have to fight against the epidemic which is at crisis levels, which involves Organized Crime, human trafficking, murder, kidnapping, identity theft, money laundering, suicide, human and animal scarfice and makes over a trillion each year…….Scamming
