Decentralization of the Internet driven by (and driving) the Peoples network economy is a megatrend. Changes in technology drive changes to work which drive changes in society and the economy at large. While corporate America would like us to believe that #AI is the megatrend, the real story is the number of unique devices (computers) connected to the Internet. This is driving the trend toward smart everything - homes, vehicles, schools, farms, shops, factories, parks, roads and even smart humans. With this, every human becomes a economic unit - a one person company and further aggregations from there - family companies, neighbourhood companies, community companies and multiple other nested network formations. The peoples network economy is already a trend in many cities in the US and Europe. But, they haven't found a common technology base to counter the well entrenched corporate interests in their developed countries. It is in India that an entire country will go from "developing" to "developed" by adapting the existing economy to this growing technology trend - Distributed Digital. The Internet was created in the USA and corporate USA has a vicegrip on it since the late 1990s. If the Internet has to reclaim it's original democratic roots, it will do so in India. Once the technology base is created here, it will find immediate wide appeal all over the developed world. Leading to a global economy built on the ideals of Mahatma Gandhi's vision of Swaraj. This is not a trend that venture capitalists with their roots in corporate USA will be able to fund. This will be funded by those who can give a loving middle finger to corporate USA and their representatives in India - the McBc VCs 😁. https://lnkd.in/guy6nTGF

Local ways of living cannot be left to the violent onslaught of global ways. Just as Human economics cannot be any different from Life economics or Earth economics. The principles of Life remain those of the universe. And the principles of economics must therefore be the same as those of Life, of Earth, of the Universe. They can't be man-made. Simply because man hasn't invented life or Earth or Universe. Man has invented money, and ideas such as value, growth, success, development. So man should only be able to buy man-made things with his man-made money. Not Life, Not Earth, Not the Universe. Life has a need to live, and Earth has a need to meet it. In the 21st century no one has any excuse to keep our economic behaviour as if it's the 18th century. Life cannot be bifurcated into Time, Energy, Work, Leisure, Value, Production, Consumption, resource. The larger picture isn't real because it is the small picture that's real. Local communities, local economies, local currencies. Love.
