🌟𝗔𝗹𝘂𝗺𝗻𝗶 𝗖𝗵𝗮𝗽𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗠𝗲𝗲𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗶𝗻 𝗕𝗲𝗿𝗹𝗶𝗻! 𝗚𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘁 𝘁𝗼 𝗵𝗮𝘃𝗲 𝗵𝗮𝗱 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗮𝗹𝗹 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝘂𝘀.🌟 Our Berlin office was packed last week. 🎉 We had the honor of hosting Business School Alumni Drinks with alumni of leading business schools such as HHL Leipzig Graduate School of Management, University of Oxford, WHU – Otto Beisheim School of Management, Università Bocconi, Harvard University, INSEAD, Stanford University, University of St.Gallen, and EBS Universität für Wirtschaft und Recht. Our connection to the network is a close one: we support HHL and WHU students with the Deutschlandstipendium (German scholarship), and several of our partners and colleagues are HHL alumni, such as Viktor Meier, Christina Krätzig, Claudius Nestler, Dr. Franziska Rath, and Uwe Haberkorn. We are therefore very pleased to have been able to host this inspiring network event. This evening, Viktor Meier, Dr. Jens Schmidt-Sceery, Kevin Kissner, Christina Krätzig, Claudius Nestler, Simon Costa, and Christopher Spies had the chance to give insights into our investment banking advisory at Pava! Furthermore, we celebrated the community by meeting and talking to new and familiar faces. Thank you, Stine Täubert and Frank Hildebrandt, for making this great evening happen! Hope to see you all again in 2025! 🥳 #Berlin #Investmentbanking #Networking #Career

Congratulations, Lars Hinrichs (a global leader, passionate entrepreneur and visionary, who is committed to groundbreaking investments. And on several supervisory boards, including Deutsche Telekom AG) on being named to the #RollOfFuture and honored by the #HallOfFuture, the non profit organization (NPO) for responsible business answers to #future questions. The honor was presented at a private ceremony at the Hashtag #Montblanc House in Hamburg. Since November 2023, dozens extraordinary personalities have already been honored. The Hall of Future is an NPO that is committed to #QualityEconomy. It stands for #growth economy, and is a new economic direction that complements the centuries-old quantitative orientation of macro-, micro- and business economics . In 2025, the #book "Quality Economy" will be published by Springer Nature Group, one of the largest scientific publishers in the world. I had the pleasure of honoring exceptional individuals (the most analog, all digital), who usually do not see the award as the end of a life's work, but as a new start! Within the next days I will introduce more honored individuals. The Hall of Future member companies together (already since the first dozen honorees) represent more than half a #trillion euros in annual #revenue in more than 100 countries with more than 1 million employees. Yes, these are numbers. Because they will also play a role in the future, for example to prove that Quality Economy is also quantitatively more #successful. European Perspectives: Challenges and Challengers 🇪🇺 Today at ESCP Business School's Berlin campus, we had the honor of hosting Mr. Friedrich Merz and Mr. Édouard Philippe for an enlightening dialogue on "European Perspectives: Challenges and Challengers." Moderated by Mr. Jürgen Kaube, publisher at Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung and joined by our students and the French Tech community in Berlin, the event was a testament to the enduring Franco-German partnership at the heart of European history. The conversation was rich, revealing a genuine convergence of visions to forge a Europe united in diversity and progress together. Strengthening our bonds and cooperation through mutual respect is about deepening our understanding of one another—it builds trust. Four major themes emerged from the discussion: - Enhanced European Regulation: Empowering our European companies to be more agile and competitive, better serving the global market—not just Europe—especially regarding the mergers of French and German enterprises. - Green Energy at the Core of Future Growth: Addressing the significant increase in energy consumption anticipated from technological advancements and AI-related industries, while steadfastly pursuing the decarbonization of our economy. - A Unified Financial Market: Establishing a cohesive financial marketplace to more effectively support companies in their growth trajectories. - Strengthening Student Mobility through Erasmus: Enhancing cultural understanding by promoting student exchanges, enriching each other's perspectives. To achieve these ambitions, education is key. It is essential for inspiring and preparing future responsible leaders in a DISRUPTED world—Digitalized, Inclusive, Sustainable, Rapid, Unpredictable, Polarized, Tangled, Empowered, Dynamic. Thanks so much to the two distinguished leaders, Édouard Philippe and Friedrich Merz, Jürgen Kaube, our French Ambassador François Delattre, The #FrenchTech in Berlin, Alicia Combaz, Leon Bender, Prof. Frank JACOB, Prof. Gunnar Graef, distinguished guests, colleagues, and students. #ItAllStartsHere #ESCPAlumni #ESCPFoundation Francesco Rattalino Veronique Tran Anaïs Ravet Cécile Kharoubi Alberta Di Giuli Javier Tafur Kamran Razmdoost Pramuan Bunkanwanicha Regis Coeurderoy Gorgi Krlev Marianne Conde Salazar Alexandre Lederman

George, Pablo Sanz, Jieun Shin, Mirel Yavuz, Martin Jacob and Pablo Hernández de Cos. The new faculty members hold doctorates from some of the world’s leading universities and their research addresses the challenges faced by #business leaders today, including #innovation, managing uncertainty, the impact of changes on people within organizations, the effects of social media-driven activism on company valuations, and corporate environmental performance, among other topics. 🔗 https://lnkd.in/dmu3VJh5

Earlier this year, I had the privilege of engaging with the Hult Prize Foundation, facilitated by Geoffrey Mogeni, one of their officials. This experience was nothing short of remarkable. I was tasked with evaluating and assessing a selection of Hult Prize applications, each presenting innovative solutions aligned with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). The journey was inspiring. Witnessing the creativity and determination of young people to tackle global challenges left me in awe. It wasn't just another consultancy assignment for me; it was a profound opportunity to witness firsthand how the younger generation is actively shaping a better future. Gone are the days of passive observation. Today's youth are actively driving change, demonstrating their readiness to contribute meaningfully to global progress. It's truly uplifting to see them not only identifying problems but also actively engaging in crafting solutions. In essence, this experience reaffirmed my belief in the power of youth-driven innovation and their role as catalysts for positive change. It's a testament to the exciting era we live in, where passion, creativity, and a commitment to impact are driving forces in shaping a better world.

"In this place, it takes all the running you can do to keep in the same place. If you want to get somewhere else, you must run at least twice as fast as that.” Lewis Carroll, Through the Looking Glass. This thought-provoking quote, inspired by the Red Queen Hypothesis in evolutionary biology, illustrates that species must continually adapt and evolve, not just for an edge but to simply survive amidst constant change. I have been reflecting on this hypothesis and how relentless effort is needed to maintain our current positions in career, personal growth, societal advancement, and business development, emphasising the need to double our efforts so we can evolve and move to the next level of success. This hypothesis summarises my experience and completion of Masters in Digital Business at EU Business School Barcelona. Thank you my darling Adeyinka Adebiyi for your unwavering love and encouragement. Also appreciative of Carlos Canivell Cretchley, Joan Torrejon, Luis A. García Giralt, Roger Calaf-Ferré, PhD, Marc Perelló, PhD, MSSc, Joad Lopez, Dr. Loha Hashimy, Shushanta Acharjee, Ferran Herraiz Faixó, CRISTINA ELSON ALFONSO, Maria Nikishina, Ricardo Torrecilla, PhD, Anthony Lawson, and Digital Business Class of 2024 for an enriching in-class and out-of-class learning, and growing experience. This experience has been a great opportunity for discussions and learning about different business cases, frameworks, and strategies, which has significantly contributed to my personal and professional development. I look forward to applying these insights towards building sustainable business strategies for growth in an ever-changing world. I am grateful for the knowledge and network I gained during my time at EU Business School Barcelona and for being a part of such a culturally and talentedly diverse group of individuals who have been an inspiration for excellence. Thank you to family, friends, colleagues, and everyone who made this experience truly rewarding. #Graduation #Evolution #GrowthMindset #ContinuousImprovement #DigitalBusiness #BusinessDevelopment

When a conference wraps, I often find myself in a reflective state. The pre-conference nerves that seemed so consuming feel distant, replaced by the exhaustion and exhilaration of being in a flow state. As I travel home, there’s a valuable space for reflection, and this week’s Academic Impressions: Essential Leadership Skills for Deans provided plenty to think about. Key takeaways: Jeanne Hey is incredible. Even recovering from COVID, she showed up with her trademark insight and wit. While not at her usual energy level, her contributions were sharp, thoughtful, and deeply appreciated. Marcela Kostihova is an inspiring thought partner. This was our first conference together, and I’m thrilled to collaborate with her again in the future. Deans share common challenges across institutions. Despite different contexts, their dedication to higher education, their teams, and their students shines through. If you’ve never attended an Academic Impressions event, make 2025 the year to experience it for yourself. But don’t just take my word for it—here’s what attendees had to say: “The blunt, actionable insights and clear TO-DO’s were refreshing. It was a little theory and a LOT of take-home strategies—not fluffy vision.” “I loved the small group settings, where all voices were heard, real connections were made, and innovative thinking was encouraged through engaging design activities.” Why this work matters #Highereducation is steeped in tradition, yet its leaders face unprecedented challenges that demand fresh perspectives and bold solutions. For me, embracing #innovation and #creativity in this space is more than a career—it’s a calling. Leading change isn’t about arriving at an endpoint; it’s about finding purpose in each step forward, no matter how steep the path. Like Sisyphus, I’ve come to see determination as a quiet triumph. Each day I face the hill with resolve, knowing the act of pushing forward is what makes the impossible possible. Looking ahead With eight conferences already on the calendar for 2025, I’m excited to connect with passionate people tackling the big challenges in higher education. Let’s keep pushing, smiling, and redefining what’s possible—because, as they say, it’s only impossible until it’s done.

🌟 Excited to share some insights from my final Business Challenge Presentation in Berlin, Germany 🇩🇪 focused on Goya Health! This project provided the unique opportunity as a Baylor University MBA candidate to dive into the complexities of global expansion in the healthcare sector. Some key takeaways include: ▫ Market Research is Essential: Understanding consumer preferences, regulatory frameworks, and competitive dynamics significantly influences effective market entry strategies. This experience highlighted that successful global strategies must be tailored, not just replicated. ▫ Cultural Awareness is Important: Expanding into a new market requires more than just a solid business plan. Engaging with local communities and recognizing cultural differences can significantly impact brand perception and acceptance. ▫ Global Collaboration Sparks Innovation: Working with diverse international teams opens up opportunities for creative solutions and enriches problem-solving approaches. This opportunity has broadened my perspective on global business practices, and I look forward to applying these insights as I move forward in my career. A huge thank you to my team members Anderson T., Ben Appleby, Christopher Frantzen, Emmanuel Odubote, Ethan Bloom, Nathaniel Lannen, and Sydney Matthews. Additionally thank you to Baylor University MBA Programs and McBride Center for International Business for facilitating this experience. #BaylorMBA #GlobalBusiness #StudyAbroad #GoyaHealth #MarketExpansion
