In the grand theater of life, there once stood a man who held his title high above his head, believing it to be his crown of invincibility. He reveled in the power he wielded, the accolades that adorned his name, and the sway he had over others. But little did he know, his towering ego was built on the flimsy foundation of arrogance. As time unfurled its tapestry, the echoes of his grandeur faded into obscurity. The titles he clung to so dearly became mere whispers in the winds of time, lost amidst the annals of history. For all his grandiosity, he failed to realize that in the long run, people remember not the titles or the power, but the essence of one's actions. In contrast, there was another soul who trod the path of humility and righteousness. Though devoid of grand titles and ostentatious displays of power, this individual's actions spoke volumes. They walked with humility, guided by the compass of integrity and compassion. While the former may have left behind a legacy tainted by arrogance and self-importance, the latter's deeds resonated through the ages, leaving an indelible mark on the hearts of those they touched. For in the grand tapestry of life, it is not the height of one's throne that matters, but the depth of one's character and the humility with which they tread their path. #selfrealizationfellowship #leadershipdevelopment #leadership #humility #development #learning

Quote of the day: You can never plan the future by the past. Edmund Burke This is an interesting one. I picked this quote because I go back and forth as to whether I agree with it or not. If you recited this quote to ten different people I'm pretty sure half would agree and half would disagree with this quote. Without more context I have to take this quote on face value. I'm not about to go down the Edmund Burke rabbit hole. Lol! What do you think about this quote? Is Edmund Burke off his rocker by saying don't use the past to shape the future, or do you agree with him? Comment below and let me know your thoughts.

Final Score There is a time for everything. —Ecclesiastes 3:1 “It was the best of times, it was the worst of times.” So opened Charles Dickens’ A Tale of Two Cities. There are times when everything falls into place: every swing sends the ball soaring, every putt drops, every three-pointer is nothing but net. Then there are times when we couldn’t hit a slow pitch with a surfboard, couldn’t sink a gimme in four strokes, couldn’t drop a layup against a kindergartener. Such is the ebb and flow of life: “[A] time to weep and a time to laugh, a time to mourn and a time to dance” (Eccl 3:4). But bottom line, we win, for “neither death nor life . . . neither the present nor the future . . . nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God” (Rom 8:38, 39). Final score: we win.

Thank you Bev James for sharing this inspirational quote by Tony Gaskins "If you can't do anything about it then let it go. Don't be a prisoner to things you can't change." Letting go of things beyond our control can be incredibly liberating. It's about accepting reality as it is, acknowledging our limitations, and channelling our energy towards what we can influence. My top tips are:- 1. Learn to surrender, as the Universe as something better in store for you. 2. Have empathy for yourself when things get tough, remembering nothing is permanent. 3. Be brave and take your next step, no matter how small it is, as you will continue to move towards your next courageous goal. 4. Celebrate your smallest successes and remember you are enough and you have this! 5. Find your strength to keep moving forward while prioritizing your own well-being. From experience I want you to know this is the first step to rising again and coming back stronger.
