https://lnkd.in/d7AHMd4g Today, we had the privilege of meeting Rajinder k Vij Sir, the former DGP of Chhattisgarh. Our discussion focused on the alarming increase in the number of Road Traffic Accidents (RTAs) and explored potential solutions to ensure that every driver on the road is equipped with the necessary knowledge and attitude to contribute to a safer driving environment. It was an insightful conversation, and we are hopeful that our collaborative efforts will lead to significant improvements in road safety. #RoadSafety #DrivingAwareness #RTAs #SafetyFirst Bharat Agrawal

Last week, I was driving on the Srisailam highway when a car from the opposite direction suddenly overtook another vehicle, even though there was a blind curve ahead and they couldn't see the oncoming traffic. My reflexes kicked in and I swerved just at the right moment to avoid the on coming car. It was a stark reminder that, even after years of driving on Hyderabad's roads, we can never fully anticipate the actions of other road users. Confidence in our driving skills is important, but it’s crucial to remember that others might not drive as safely or make mistakes that could impact us. We often think, "I know how to drive, I've been doing it for years," but do the drivers next to us drive safe? We can never be too careful. This experience reinforced the importance of staying vigilant and keeping our defensive driving skills sharp, no matter how experienced we are. Safety on the road is a collective responsibility, and we must always be prepared for the unexpected. #roadsafety #drivingsafety #safetyconnect #hyderabad #safedriving #defensivedriving #safetyfirst

Nitin Gadkari Ji Honorable Sir I am a daily commuter from Sec-37C of Gurugram to IMT Manesar via Hero Honda Chowk and Delhi-Jaipur highway. The area near Dwarka expressway at Sec 37C (near new Bus stand of Gurugram) has major traffic related shortcomings even in presence of traffic policemen who fail to control the traffic (as they are busy gossiping). This might lead to some serious accidents Also the Delhi Jaipur highway has many potholes and irregularities in road surface due to which sudden braking is being done which also is a probable cause for road accidents. I appreciate your target towards road safety, but to tell you, accidents on highways are only being captured and near misses and small incidents on highways and link roads are not being captured. Now with the onset of monsoons, the denting-painting done on roads during inauguration of Dwarka expressway would tear down, leading to the same pot holed roads which are life threatening to specially two wheelers. People living in Sec-37C near Dwarka expressway really are upset that government is only building highways, but the quality of highway built is very poor which cannot sustain 2-3 monsoons also. Also the link roads to these highways are in a pathetic condition. It is requested that you conduct a surprise visit to this belt so as to take appropriate measures towards : 1) Road safety 2) Reduction of accidents 3) Benefits of new projects to nearby residents by providing good quality link roads. Your responsible citizen...!!!

Delhi- vadodara expressway accident. cars to jump and be airborne before crashing to the ground. This can happen due to various reasons, including: 1. Speed bumps or humps: If the vehicle is traveling at a high speed and encounters a speed bump or hump, it can become airborne. 2. Potholes or uneven road surfaces: Severe potholes or uneven road surfaces can cause the vehicle to lift off the ground. 3. Ramp or inclined surfaces: If the vehicle drives up a steep ramp or inclined surface, it can become airborne. 4. Colliding with another object: In some cases, a collision with another object, like a car or a barrier, can cause the vehicle to become airborne.

I was driving between Chennai to Madurai and further south on Sunday on the highway… wow horrible traffic… Two wheelers on the middle of the highway, Heavy trucks on the extreme right lane… i find these two can be avoided… Jay walkers… barricades on the highway… Speed breaker humps near Toll plaza.. For 2wheelers why cant Toll be levied like it is done in Bangalore (NICE Road)? For Heavy vehicles, would it not be possible to establish a sea-highway? Regarding Jay walkers why cant over-passes be made for ppl to cross roads These measures in my opinion will help in making highway drive more pleasant.

“RASTA” Roads Are Safer To All. Way To Safer Roads. “Together We can Save Thousands of Lives” "Trinayani Serial Actress Pavithra Jayaram died on the spot in a Road Crash and other three injured." May her soul rest in Peace. The above accident took place at Sheripalli in Bhutpur, Mahbubnagar district, Telangana, where the car in which Pavitra Jayaram was traveling collided with a divider and an RTC bus coming in the opposite direction in the early hours of the Sunday. Most of these types of accidents occur due to "Fatigue" Those who travel in the nights, please provide a good rest to the person who is driving or if others also drivers share the driving in the daytime. When our body doesn't have sufficient rest, body automatically goes to rest while driving. It cautions us by the following symptoms 1. Yawning 2. Eyes Closes automatically 3. Missing Road Signs 4. Drifting from your lane 5. Falling head If you observe any of the above symptoms, please stop and take rest for some time or if any other driver in the car and he has taken sufficient rest allow him to drive. "Remember, always wear Seat belt" Otherwise, you will be thrown here and there or sometimes thrown outside. You get injured and injure other passengers. But always be alert and follow rules. Learn defensive driving Techniques to save yourselves as well as others. #roadsafety #roadsafetyawareness #india #indian #roadaccident #savelives #lifesafety #publicsafety #healthandsafety #safetyprofessionals #hseprofessionals #ehscommunity #slowdown #bepatient #drivesafe #ridesafe #safetyculture #safetyfirst #safetyleaders #safety #safetyleadership #morthroadsafety #india #saferindia #iRAP #indiaRAP #decadeofactionforroadsafety #delftroadsafety

Often the basics are taught in MBA institutes... sender/receiver. But nobody tells who the receiver is likely to be. This is a classic case study. Expensive one. Railways should sell it to b schools.
An ‘OK’ from a #station master to his wife, with whom he was on a #phone call, resulted in a freight #train being dispatched down a restricted route in a Maoist-affected area in #Chhattisgarh, resulting in a loss of ₹3 crore to the #IndianRailways. Head to link in comments to find out what happened

Sabarmati Express Derailment Near Kanpur Suspected as Sabotage The recent derailment of the Sabarmati Express near Kanpur, which affected 22 coaches and over 1,700 passengers, is suspected to be an act of sabotage. An FIR reveals that a 93cm rusty rail chunk was deliberately placed on the tracks. While a joint probe supports this theory, accidental placement by maintenance staff is also under consideration. Railway safety officials are continuing the investigation. #RailwaySafety #SabotageInvestigation #KanpurIncident #TransportNews #StayInformed #SimplyHaiku #30SecondNews #SimplyNews #AudioNews #ShortNews
