I was driving between Chennai to Madurai and further south on Sunday on the highway… wow horrible traffic…
Two wheelers on the middle of the highway, Heavy trucks on the extreme right lane… i find these two can be avoided…
Jay walkers… barricades on the highway…
Speed breaker humps near Toll plaza..
For 2wheelers why cant Toll be levied like it is done in Bangalore (NICE Road)?
For Heavy vehicles, would it not be possible to establish a sea-highway?
Regarding Jay walkers why cant over-passes be made for ppl to cross roads
These measures in my opinion will help in making highway drive more pleasant.
An additional input by “sea-highway” i meant waterway not building a coastal road or highway over the sea. I feel there would be benefits and disadvantages of building a regulated seaway for example the security of our coast can be improved with more patrol protecting the heavy cargo movement within India, the environmental issue will always crop up, maybe it will be beneficial with lesser fossil fuel consumption, would there be a way that having a coastal seaway will help avoid the devastation seen during the floods as the arterial connecting waterways would also get some attention and thus better maintnenance thus making the flood water drains faster without the wild hyacinth growth… just some thoughts…

It is based on trust on (Railway) System, train passengers have to travel. This is what air travelers used to do.They don't see whether the sky is cloudy or rainy or expected cyclone or not.
When the track is certified by the concerned P.Way Engineer, the Station Master has to operate the trains.
Whether the track is submerged or with failed rail/Weld or Signaled/unsignaled movement or what not, the Driver has to run the train.
We citizens of Bharath were ruled by Congress which was launched by a British national, for more than 60 years (out of which 10 years are under the shadow ruling by an Italian national).
The present Government which is logically strong than INC, has been solving issues on Need based.
If the government understands the safety issue of running a train on submerged track, it will definitely be attending to it.
We have to note that trains are running on designed profile which is equally safe like Airways.

Honorable Sir
I am a daily commuter from Sec-37C of Gurugram to IMT Manesar via Hero Honda Chowk and Delhi-Jaipur highway.
The area near Dwarka expressway at Sec 37C (near new Bus stand of Gurugram) has major traffic related shortcomings even in presence of traffic policemen who fail to control the traffic (as they are busy gossiping).
This might lead to some serious accidents
Also the Delhi Jaipur highway has many potholes and irregularities in road surface due to which sudden braking is being done which also is a probable cause for road accidents.
I appreciate your target towards road safety, but to tell you, accidents on highways are only being captured and near misses and small incidents on highways and link roads are not being captured.
Now with the onset of monsoons, the denting-painting done on roads during inauguration of Dwarka expressway would tear down, leading to the same pot holed roads which are life threatening to specially two wheelers.
People living in Sec-37C near Dwarka expressway really are upset that government is only building highways, but the quality of highway built is very poor which cannot sustain 2-3 monsoons also. Also the link roads to these highways are in a pathetic condition.
It is requested that you conduct a surprise visit to this belt so as to take appropriate measures towards :
1) Road safety
2) Reduction of accidents
3) Benefits of new projects to nearby residents by providing good quality link roads.

Are the Government of Tamil Nadu/the Chennai Metropolitan Development Authority /Chennai Unified Metropolitan Transport Authority (CUMTA) really serious about the urban bus mobility?
The crying need of the Metropolitan Transportation Corporation (MTC) is now the barest minimum bus fleet and the needed crew for effective fleet utilisation.
India has 1.2 buses per 1,000 people, below the developing nations' benchmark. Even by this norm, with a population of 11.2 million in 2021, Chennai musty have at the least 13,440 buses now.
But the MTC has barely 3,300 buses. It is, however, bearing daily the brunt of the commuter load carrying about 4.7 million trips out of the total 18 million tips in the City today without any hype or publicity blitzkrieg.
The Chennai Metro Rail hasn't restored the only Chennai's signature 2.5 km bus-way on Anna Salai after executing and operationalising metrorail along Anna Salai. But is anyone concerned?

Lighting the Way. Bajaj Electricals Illuminates Mumbai's first Undersea Road Tunnel with State-of-the-Art Lighting!
Mumbai’s Costal Road tunnel was opened to the public today.
Bajaj Electricals is proud to announce its pivotal role in illuminating the tunnel in this project.
The shift was bound to happen in this sphere.
Unlike past where the focus and talk were all in manufacturing of the 2/3/4 wheelers alone, there is marked change in present times to focus more of EV charging sphere be it CPO or BaaS.
And when it is CPO, EVRE has edge over the other operators virtue its predominant Make In India policy and also the technical supremacy for quick turnaround for any down times..no doubt the fleet operators prefer these.
Happy to Share this further for benefit of larger audience !!
Say CPO say EVRE.
