🌍 Reflections on the 11ASM Conference by the RBMS (River Basin Management Society): Interweaving water knowledge 🌍 A month ago, I had the privilege of attending the 11ASM Conference, where I presented a poster on the Mott MacDonald systems approach to integrated water management. This conference was a profound experience, shedding light on the urgent need for more coordinated catchment management approaches. One of the most eye-opening aspects was witnessing the success of various nature-based solutions. From the regeneration of Fleurieu Swamp to the biodiversity initiatives at wineries in McLaren Vale, which have impressively halved pesticide usage, the conference showcased the tangible benefits of these practices. With 2025 bringing new nature-positive financial reporting requirements, the potential for financing catchment management projects through partnerships and collaborations with other organisations is an exciting prospect. Imagine the impact if organisations, looking to diversify their portfolios, could support these vital environmental initiatives. The #11ASM Conference was a testament to the power of collaboration and innovation in creating a sustainable future. Let’s continue to champion holistic and integrated approaches to water management. With the exhibition "Sustainable Development Goals and Water Possibility", CRAMSA culminated its participation in the 6th International Conference "Desalination Latin America 2024" 🌊 Hugo Lecaros, CRAMSA's Corporate Affairs Manager, in charge of the presentation, highlighted the importance for the company to be part of this type of instance that shares the advances and benefits of desalination and water treatment technologies in the sustainability of water management. "Great efforts are being made by the industry to implement desalination projects and increase water reserves throughout Latin America, and getting to know them has been very gratifying.
