From a PR perspective, and as an agency working with a growing number of B Corps and sustainably and socially led consumer brands, the actionable "Simplify the message of certification for consumers" is such an important one. The need to address the 'so what' and 'which means that' factors is critical. Sure, consumers may engage brands that are COSMOS or B Corp certified with their respective logos prominently displayed on their products' packaging, but it is dangerous to assume that consumers understand what it really means to be one and buy from such a brand. The education process is in its infancy and now is the time to be scaling it up if brands want to play a key role in driving real meaningful change. Looks like a fascinating debate.
