It has been over 20 years when we published one of the first applications of the Unscented Kalman Filter in the area of Process System Engineering and Process Control. Since then more efficient formulations of the original Unscented Transform (by Uhlmann and Julier) have been developed. And most importantly, the UKF has become a real industrial enabler in many fields, including our @Plantegrity Platform for nonlinear model predictive control and dynamic real-time optimization at Ciengis, increasing process efficiency, sustainability and competitiveness of the process industry.

🌪️ One of our partners was about to launch a workshop. The peculiarities of the technical process led to excessive dusting of the premises, which, in turn, led to a number of problems, including: ▪️ impossible working conditions; ▪️ increased risk of explosion and fire. Grain Capital specialists were tasked with solving this problem in a short time. In 3️⃣ days, a temporary dedusting system was installed, dust emission sources were sealed, which has already reduced emissions by three times. After, a new dedusting system was designed, manufactured and installed, using modern filtering equipment. Type of equipment: ✔️ filter cyclones ZEO-FC; ✔️ local special filters ZEO-FUG; ✔️ "breathing" filters ZEO-FB. ⚙️ Cyclone unloaders with sluice gates were developed and installed to eliminate high-pressure air injection.
