"Hey, do you want free energy?" This is a pitch from a well-known electrical motor distributor operating in Indonesia. The pitch that resonates with my current needs. for some others that trapped in judol would be: "Hey, do you want free money?" Before you know it, you might find yourself on an online slots website. Returning to the puzzling "free energy," I wonder what they could be offering. I’m mulling it over in my mind. "Do you realize that the total cost of ownership of an electrical motor is 98% in operating costs?" Okay, now he has my attention. Basically, he is offering to replace the current energy-efficient motor (IE1) with a super-premium energy-efficient motor (IE4). Fast forward the story, we agreed to simulate the calculation with some of the motors we operate. In the next two weeks, the simulation report will be in my hands.
