We launched a new service offering this week to help florist owners capitalise on their Facebook followers by harmonising their website product catalog directly with Facebook. This allows them now to tag their photos with their product details in Facebook and allow their customers to access the ordering information directly from their website. You have a captive audience on Facebook so don't waste the opportunity in not sending them to your product's website... especially if they have liked your post! We've already got 30 florists from across the UK sign-up and they'll be benefiting from our automated solution from Monday. I often struggle with staying active on social media which isn't inherently a bad thing. We know all too well the downsides of social media. Still, there are areas that I want to improve - specifically doing more on social for my business, Mithril Media. While I am passionate about the work I do, I struggle to be passionate about creating content for the work I do. The work is always more important and there is always more work to do, perpetuating a cycle of never creating content about the work. So, to solve for this I started creating content about something other than my work - my garden. I started gardening during COVID as a way to get outside and since then, it's become a genuine passion. It's also really easy for me to talk about my garden which makes it a lot easier to create content. The hope is that this will also get me more comfortable on both sides of the camera, leading me to be a more confident and entertaining storyteller, ultimately resulting in making more content for my business as well. I've set up a new Instagram page dedicated to the garden I love so dearly. I'll be sharing everything from starting seeds to taking care of the plants to cooking and storing the harvests we yield. I absolutely love cooking & baking, and have always posted my makes and bakes on my story, then added them as highlights. However, my highlights were so full of food stories that it was actually stressing me out😂 Too much clutter! So, I have made this Insta, so they are a lot more accessible and easier to look at.
