This is exactly how a #sponsorship deal should aways be approached. It’s about finding an alignment between biz and brand’s objectives and finding together ways to add meaningful value to each other. It is not putting a logo on a shirt. It’s a longer process, but the only one which will pay off at the end. Well done C. Ryan Shelton!

Chief Revenue Officer - Como 1907

Last fall, Filadelfo Aparo and I had the wonderful opportunity to meet Marco Ferrara, Carlos Cachero, and Raffaele Guariglia from Uber to learn more about business objectives and pain points, specifically in Northern Italy. That conversation allowed me to share the Como 1907 story and our unique approach to solving business problems. We each spoke in-depth about empowerment and how good business can also be good for the communities we serve. From that first meeting we knew that there was an alignment between our brands and that we were not speaking in the typical language of a football club or rights holder, but rather as a pillar meant to strengthen our community socially and economically. We spoke of ways to tangibly support their business, beyond a simple branding exercise. Simply put, this partnership just felt right. There is so much more exciting news to ahead in the coming months, but for today, I am thrilled to share that we are starting our journey with Uber as a Main Partner and Front of Shirt Sponsor.
