🔊 Navigating Language Requirements in Contracts applying Indonesian Law   As Indonesia's economy continues to be bullish, attracting foreign investors and traders, a crucial question emerges: Is the Indonesian language mandatory in contracts governed by Indonesian law?   This started in December 2023, when the Circular Letter No. 3 of 2023 (SC Letter 3/2023), issued by the Indonesian Supreme Court, advised lower courts that the absence of an Indonesian version in agreements with Indonesian institutions, companies, and/or individuals should not automatically invalidate the contract.
