Our ECO-f and standard Minitop tubes, both capped with a 35 mm diameter Minitop PE cap, have been certified by RecyClass with CLASS A, the best possible rating, in terms of their recyclability. In addition to being mono-material PE tubes, they allow the inclusion of PE-PCR material in their composition and contain a smaller amount of plastic thanks to their lightened Minitop cap and the reduced thickness of the sleeve, in the case of the ECO-f tube. In this way, we promote the circular economy and contribute to creating a more sustainable system based on the principles of environmental care: - We reduce, by reducing plastic material - We use recycled materials, giving a second life to discarded materials. - We promote recyclability, making our packaging increasingly recyclable. #recyclability #flexiblepackaging #tubepackaging #sustainability #certification

Paper, Glass & Carton Trade Associations Rally Against Commingled Recycling 📢 The Confederation of Paper Industries (CPI), British Glass, and ACE UK have united to urge Defra to reconsider its decision to allow commingled collections of paper, card, glass, and liquid cartons under the Simpler Recycling proposal. The associations warn that mixing these materials will reduce the quality of recyclables, increase contamination, and harm the UK’s recycling rates. They advocate for separate collections to improve recyclate quality, lower costs, and support the transition to a zero-waste, circular economy. As part of our ongoing commitment to be eco-friendly, we’ve now made the decision to offer a dye sub and RPET lanyard at no extra cost. Using RPET (recycled plastic) as an alternative to Polyester is a huge step forward on the path toward a greener, safer and cleaner future. Let’s explain the science: RPET looks exactly the same as polyester but it’s made from recycled plastic bottles. Each lanyard is made using woven fibres of recycled polyester plastic (RPET). When compared to virgin material, RPET production uses: No additional chemicals (other than cleaning detergents). 59% less energy 32% less CO2 emissions For more information, reach out to one of our experts by emailing sales@digitalid.co.uk.

♻️Towards a European #CircularEconomy for Plastics🔄 Through VinylPlus, the European PVC industry is committed to recycle 1,000,000 tonnes of PVC/year into new products by 2030. This week the VinylPlus® team and staff from TEPPFA had the opportunity to visit the #plastic recycler Van Werven - Infra & Recycling in Biddinghuizen🇳🇱. Here, we witnessed first-hand how #PVC and other #plastics are meticulously collected, sorted, and transformed into valuable raw materials used by European manufacturers. Which countries depend the most on exports of glass for recycling to achieve their recycling rate? 🤔 On average, EU Member States don’t rely much on exports, with an average dependence of 9.6%. 📊 But while some countries do not export a single kilogram of glass packaging for recycling, others are entirely reliant on exports, sending 100% of their collected glass packaging abroad for recycling. 🌍♻️ View the graph to find out how each country performs on exports of glass for recycling! 👀 💬 What measures do you think can help reduce export dependence in glass recycling? We're thrilled to announce that the first aluminium coils from Constellium's new recycling center in Neuf-Brisach, France, have been qualified by Crown Holdings, Inc. https://ow.ly/LO4650U9WjG This milestone, achieved with aluminium produced mainly from post-consumer scrap, highlights our shared commitment to sustainability and a circular economy. With 130,000 metric tons of added recycling capacity, we’re advancing toward our 2030 goal of obtaining at least 50% of all aluminium input from recycled sources. Thank you to Crown for their valued partnership and support in making this a reality! #CircularEconomy #AluminiumRecycling #SustainablePackaging #CarbonReduction #AluminiumCan #recycling #BeverageCan

Bluemont Pty Ltd Rock Bags are the original Rock Bags invented in 1987 by Kyowa. It is important to Bluemont that the Rock Bags not only help prevent scour and erosion but do so with environmental benefits. Bluemont Rock Bags are the only Rock Bags made from rPET 100% recycled material and proven not to release micro plastics into the environment. The use of 100% recycled material and locally sourced rock fill makes them a low carbon footprint option compared to other erosion and scour protection methods. The table below shows the number of recycled plastic bottle equivalents in our 2t & 4t rock bags (1t, 8t and 12t bags also available) and crude oil and CO2 emission savings compared to use virgin plastic alternatives. We often get asked, 'Why do you use plastic jars?' and 'Why not glass?' The truth is, New Zealand doesn’t have a local glass jar manufacturer, so importing glass from overseas creates a significant carbon footprint. That's why we're proud to partner with Pharmapac, a company dedicated to researching and producing eco-friendly rPET plastic. Check out this infographic to see why our rPET plastic jars are a great sustainable choice! 🌱♻️
