🌟Exciting News!🌟 I’m thrilled to announce the publication of our research article titled “Polycystic Ovary Syndrome in Women: A Cross-sectional Study to Investigate the Prevalence, Psychophysiological Manifestations, Risk Factors, and Treatment” in COJ Nursing & Healthcare(IF:1.61). https://lnkd.in/gcWthqPx This study sheds light on the prevalence and symptoms of Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS), a common endocrine disorder among women, focusing on its psychophysiological impact and associated risk factors. Our findings highlight severe hirsutism, menstrual irregularities, and mood changes/depression as prominent symptoms while identifying dietary habits and genetics as significant risk factors. I want to extend my heartfelt thanks to my co-authors Rehan Rustam, Aqsa Q., Wajahat Ashraf, Ayesha Usmani, Maryam Sikandar, Muhammad Adnan, and Sameen Abbas for their invaluable contributions to this research. Open 🔑 Access #Predictive #Capacity of #Screening #Methods for #Preeclampsia in #Early #Pregnancies 📜Research Article : ✍🏻Alicia Ivonne Villacres Herrera #Background: Preeclampsia (PE) is a multiorgan and multifactorial disorder that occurs worldwide and is responsible for maternal mortality between 10 to 15% as a direct obstetric cause.... #Objective: To evaluate the predictive capacity of screening methods. #Methods: It is a prospective longitudinal study. the mean gestational age by LCC was 12.6 weeks. in which clinical risk criteria for preeclampsia (major and moderate), mean arterial pressure (MAP).... #Results: Of the 632 participants who met the inclusion criteria, 62 (9.8%) presented preeclampsia and 570 (90.1%) participants did not develop it. The first international comparative study, in 1979 up to the 21st Century, shows neurological deaths are accelerating this Century. Some argued the increases were primarily due to demography, especially amongst the Over 75’s. We show, based upon WHO data on the twenty-one liberal-democratic comparable MWC, that neurological conditions are starting earlier, seen in people aged 55-74, which is well below the average life expectancy of MWC, hence described as `Early Adult Deaths’ (E.A.D). Through the Canadian Longitudinal Study on Aging / Étude longitudinale canadienne sur le vieillissement Study on Aging (#CLSA), Myles O’Brien & Olga Theou reveal links between frailty, high blood pressure, and heart disease, highlighting the benefits of physical activity. https://lnkd.in/eKQSrnWd   After a 3-year follow-up of 26K adults over 45, the study found that: 👉 Higher initial frailty linked to increased incidence of #hypertension and heart disease.  👉 Regular physical activity benefits heart health, especially for women, who tend to be more frail. A recent study highlights how reducing sedentary habits could significantly lower mortality risks in people living with type 2 diabetes.
