Last week, the Green Finance Institute (GFI) launched an interactive database, showcasing innovative models from around the globe—including the Forest Resilience Bond—that are unlocking private sector finance for ecosystem restoration. Leaders are currently gathered in Colombia for the UN Biodiversity Conference (CBD #COP16) to tackle some of the most pressing environmental challenges of our time. In pursuit of collaborative solutions, the GFI introduced the Revenues for Nature (R4N) project, which highlights successful models and supports shared learning to facilitate the replication and adoption of nature-based revenue models and markets. We’re proud that a Forest Resilience Bond case study is part of this initiative.
